Robert,
Thank you for your email and your interest in the PDGA Affiliate Club
Program.
The original purpose of the Affiliate Club program was to increase
memberships for the PDGA while at the same time providing a vehicle of
support for local clubs with a price that would attract new members. A $5
discount is given to new PDGA members who as well as those who renew with an
Affiliate Club. The $5 can be retained and spent on the club or act as a
true savings for the member.
For more information on the Affiliate Club program in your state please
contact Tom Pitchford Jr 479-719-5044 or tommypitchford@yahoo.com
Please don't hesitate to contact me again if I can be of further assistance.
The PDGA needs you Robert, thank you for your past and ongoing support. I
look forward to receiving your renewal in 2007!
Take care
Lorrie Gibson

I wouldn't mind saving $5. Do I have to be a NWADGC member to save $5?

Dear Skrow Torrr,
While I do not profess to know the entire processes associated with affiliate club bundle renewal, I am attempting to aquaint myself with the details. My opinion at this stage of the hunt is Yes. Neither are you an affiliate club member or a new PDGA member.
I (on behalf of the NWADGA) invite you to join our affiliate club. Membership is open to all who appreciate disc golf.

All you guys over there need to get on this program. It is definately the best deal going for membership. We have done this in Tulsa the last two years and it has been nothing but good.

All it requires is a "bundle" of 10 new or renewing members to allow the club to send there dues in at once, it will also require a "bundle form" from the PDGA - either the club could make $5 per head or the club can pass the savings along to its members as an added benefit - club gets a course directory also for each "bundle". Win-Win situation WAFDA definitely needs to do this!!
Amazing, its almost October - not long at all until club elections, dues payments for next years memberships (locals & pdga), club dues for the affiliate programs, ect. ect

I need some help here. If I recall correctly, Engerhawg and Ash collaborated to renew the affiliate status last year. Who were the original 10 existing PDGA/NWADGA members? I would hate to leave them out of this bundle opportunity. BTW, Thank You.
I'll try to find the list of members I sent in to get affiliate club status. It will probably be Sunday/Monday before I can get to it though. I'm out of town.

Thanks for the list Enger! At the meeting Tuesday night, I will suggest all renewal/new membership dues be collected by a certain date-thinking Nov. 15th-input??? Also, does anyone recall what the affiliate club yearly dues are? I am hoping to save everyone $5 by bundelling (sp?) dues.

Annual Year-End Message to Current Members Expiry Date: 12/31/2006
Dear PDGA Member,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, thank you for your ongoing support of the Professional Disc Golf Association. Your continued commitment has helped make 2006 a record breaking year.
By season’s end the association will exceed 11,000 strong worldwide, representing a remarkable 18% increase in current membership from 2005. The 2006 PDGA Tour featured more events and more participants than ever before. And, in early 2007 our very own Disc Golf Mecca – the International Disc Golf Center (IDGC) – will officially open.
It’s time to get ready for the 2007 membership year! In an attempt to cut costs and speed delivery, this year’s Call to Renew letter is being delivered to you electronically. (For those without an email address a hard copy version will be mailed.) Please renew as soon as possible! In doing so, your membership will be processed in plenty of time for your first 2007 PDGA Tour event and will ensure that you will continue to receive all benefits of membership without missing a beat. For your convenience when renewing please select from the following options:
It's time fellas. Lets bundle dues, save $5 each, pay the affiliate club yearly fee, and git ur dun!

I have been in contact with the PDGA about this. We have to renew our affiliate club status before we will be allowed to bundle dues. I will mail the check for the affiliate club status, and then they will send me the form for bundling dues. I will provide more details as I find out more.

Count me in. That is as soon as I collect my ten bucks from Skrow Torr, the non-side bet paying evil smack talker from hell. He didn't shave his face either, as per the bet that he lost by one stroke. Who is collecting money and when? Father Bob?

Affiliate Club renewal check mailed today. Get on the bandwagon people. PM me with name, PDGA number if applicable (not necessary to be an affiliate club member nor is it necessarily a prerequisite that you be a NWADGA member). They don't need personal info, but I would like to have a directory of names and phone #s if you choose. I need to know if you are ready to renew you PDGA membership now by bundeling. Yes, I have heard from some of you already. This is an example of your club $ at work.
Thanks
BTW Have you seen the Sanitarium?

Just got off the phone to Mr. Cliff Towne. All bundled membership dues need to be collected by one contact person and either mailed together(with forms) or, in one week, entered electronically by computer and credit card. I have volunteered to be the contact person. All checks should be made out to me, Robert not Bob. Cliff only wants one check or charge to encompass all members. If you would feel more comfortable with Mayo-I believe he would be the contact person as well. Please write legibly on the forms. Today I have e-mailed forms to 2 different areas of the state. Prior to speaking with Cliff, I was hoping each member could send their own forms with payment. I guess bundled dues means just that! If you need to mail dues to me, please PM for address. I will not be at mini's for the next two weekends :(

I will be giving Bob my money. If anyone wants to give me their money I will write one check to Bob, either way it is going to Bob (if that's cool with him). I'll have mine at the meeting. Will you be at the meeting Bob?

It appears there is no deadline, nor is there a need to renew all at one time. There is a need for one contact person to bundle dues. Today was the first day for the PDGA store to accept online renewals for Affiliate clubs members. I have registered two members as of this writing and both took advantage of multiple year renewal rates!
You should renew prior to tournament time.
