As of yesterday, we have started a league at Spassland Park in Germantown; we had 17 people the first night. It is a very beginner friendly park and everyone is encouraged to come. Its only a 9 hole course, so you will be playing 2 rounds of 9.
It take place every Monday for 8 weeks, starts at 6pm and is your usual $5 entry fee and $1 ace pool. Beginners, juniors and women are encouraged to come.

Really... Are open and advanced players welcome? I would make it next week for sure then. I'm only 5 minutes from the course at work.

Last night, there was 17 people, I think 3 played ADV, 3 played open and the remainder played INT or Nov/JR. Myself, Luke and P-Hamill played open.
If anyone is looking for some hardcore competition, this is really not the course for it. I had a great time because I had the opportunity to show new players how to play the sport. ANYONE is welcome and if we have the demand, we can split the JR and Novice divisions. FYI, of the 17 players, 3 of them were women.
I know that I will be there every week (Except next week, I have a work trip) and I know Luke will be there everyweek. So to answer your question Mr. GMO Adv champ, you can come play!

3 more weeks of fun for the spassland leauge.
There was 10 people out in the pouring rain last night! That is pretty sweet.

Luke and I are starting a GLOW league on Wednesday nights in New Berlin.

So far the plan is to take registration from 6 until 6:45 with a very prompt tee off by 7. The park technically closes at 9 so we will have to be very punctual and also swift with getting our rounds done.

I am hoping to have tape and mini glow sticks available for purchase each week. Also, we will be looking for a weekly 'sponsor' to throw in $5 each week for the big glow sticks for the baskets.

Come on out and don't be late! This needs to be punctual.

PS - Spassland has 2 more weeks left in it's league.
