What about jrs?

Last year Advanced was $32, why is it $48 this year? That is more than I payed for an A-tier. Is that just to pad the Open or Open Master's division (whichever Tom plays)?
I really wanted to attend this event, but it looks like I won't now.

Are you serious? I think $48 (actually $43 if you are a PDGA member) is appropriate for a B Tier tourney.

OOPS, I just read the entry fees from last year wrong. My mistake. They are only raising entry fees by $1 from last year. MY BAD!

If they are your juniors I won't allow them to play because I'm scared of getting whooped by kids :D

If you are wanting to play jr. the pdga don't offer a jr. master open division - move up bagger

Actually, Jr's are same price as recreational and of course more than welcome, with all of Alma Willie's work we hope to have several

Does Last years open winner get a free flight to Arkansas to play the tournament. Then I would be there to defend my title. :D

Aug 24 2006, 05:07 PM
No, But if you did show you might get enough for gas on the way home.(You could always get Kyle suckered into a skins match) :eek:Wish you could be here Boobs,You can almost guarantee twice the payout of last year plus there's the distance challenge.May be worth defending after all ?

I'm down to tent space, my half finished basement may be an option, concrete floors "or pool table" to sleep on probably can accomodate 3 or 4, air mattress is recommended, warning...
it can flood in event of "bad tournament word". It is a hell of a lot cheaper than a motel though!! For those that are scared of the "wild party scenario", that's really just "fun bantering" on the board...I've learned my lesson on that at Am Worlds :p
Not to say that there will be no partying :D
Ya'll know that the Distance will probably go on till at least 8pm...not a heck of alot of time left to really get it on
but... there will be fun to be had /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Thanks Tom, I had a blast. It was your turn after the last three. You played well for the weekend and that first round of Tommie's was enough to hang on to the end. Congrats Tommie, Tom and KelDog. KelDog is now officially a PRO!
I'll get my cash at one of these sometime. I thought it was this weekend but wasn't meant to be after that dismal second round.

Thanks to Mr Lemastus and the crew for putting on a good event. Other than the rain on Sunday , it couldn't have been better.

And a BIG thank to Tom's wife Brenda! :D
She let a large crew into her beautifull home for the night and I can't say THANK YOU enough.

Another thanks to Darrell Bailey, you kept me out of that DFL spot, I owe you one. :D

AND for the line of the weekend, from Pitch's son, Landon.................

"Please don't take my daddy's money." :D

Until you cash at pro all you're ever going to be is an Arky blow-up doll. :o

Then again you would have to grow a member before they let you in to that club. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

So whats yout Buttie's name, Kitchen? It looks like you already had a good meal off that one. I'm sure you can sympathize with the no balls part.

In Ark, you're not required to have or be a member, just have a hairy hole like that man pleaser you keep trying to talk smack out of. :o

And I'll cash at pro before you get a rating above 850. :D
Hell, what am I saying? I'll be a retired pro before you get a rating above 850. :o

You're all talk and no walk. :o

You're just po'd because my prediction came true and yours didn't. :p.....I'm surprised you didn't leave in the middle of the round......Waah!!!....Waah!!!....Waah!!! You probably play more golf then Keldog and Pitch combined and you're good at picking up nickels and dimes around town but when it comes to down to crunch time in the big event you smoke pole. :o

Sep 18 2006, 02:59 PM
I'm not Po'ed but I can tell you are. How was that big garage sale? Did your arse get sore? Did you miss all of us while we were out of town playing golf?

Crunch time? I've had two Pro tournies so far. You might want to look back at the record a little bit.
Wise (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=21242&year=2005)

FurDog (http://http://www.pdga.com/tournament/playerstats.php?PDGANum=24527&year=2005)

Have you ever played anything above recreational (NOV)?
I have told you before, that division is for beginners, not for players that suck. :o:D

You made a wise choice becoming a TD, just don't make the mistake of ever telling anyone you play disc golf, that would be a big stretch. :o

accidentalROLLER
Sep 18 2006, 03:05 PM
Furdog, you should read this from the PDGA Division Guide.
-------------------------------
Recreational - available to amateur players of all ages with player ratings < 875. That's Furdog For beginning and casual players who are learning basic FrisbeeŽ and disc golf skills.Does learning mean knows people how have them? Throw 175-300 feet,I think on good pulls furdog can throw 178 make 3-5/10 putts from 20 feet NOPE!, can throw backhand with some accuracy.Nope! Score range: 63+ Yes, furdog can shoot over 63 consistantly If any player plays Recreational for more than 2 years, they should consider suicide. Also, Recreational players who have never won are not allowed to trash talk, or they could be banned for life. Are you listening Furdog?
------------------------------
Thanks for clearing that up PDGA.

Colin. Since you are just a young puppy I normally don't listen to you but now I can only assume you and Dave had some type of moment this weekend since you now feel you need to come to his defense. :p

Dave? Does Julie know? ;)

twoputtok
Sep 18 2006, 03:35 PM
No special moment. Just one player looking out for another player. :o

Notice that no one is coming to your side. Thats because most every one on this board is an actual player. So I would suggest you either get in the game or reserve your comments to the TD section of the board. :o

Leave players talk to players. :o
