I just received a phone call from someone playing the course right now....hole #5's basket has been STOLEN!

Just found out that the basket was not STOLEN, just vandalized. They broke the lock an moved it 100'+ west of hole 5's long sleeve. Toolen found it!

That is strange....unless, of course, someone was looking to steal the basket but got scared off in the process. :confused:

I remember during the mid-90's one of the baskets at Victoria Park in Irving was presumed stolen. It was not until later that year the basket was eventually discovered....submerged in the pond. The city had drained the pond to do some work and there it was! :)
