Disc golf is only 1 small part of overalls. They have to get several events in in a two days span so a small course probably works well. Even when it was in Madison we played short tees both rounds to move things along. Vollrath is sweet... sure it's a deuce or die course but it's fun to play those once in a while. Great practice for your putting/approach game. I'm not from there so no offense taken. ;)

I wanted to thank everyone who came out and played in Overalls. It was unfortunate we did not get a lot of “Disc Golfers” out to play. It was an awesome experience to be able to compete in other events besides Disc Golf. I had personally never played Double Disc Court prior to the event. It was a great time, but Singer and I lost almost every match!
The reason a shorter Disc Golf course is used for overalls is because of the Jam packed itinerary we had for the weekend. We did not leave on Saturday until almost 8pm, and on Sunday we were not done until almost 6:30. If we would play a dretzka or token creek, we would be there all day just for golf, and considering there are 6 other events, disc golf does not have any more importance then the other events. I know many other people who tried this event for the first time and loved it, so next year, lets get some more disc golfers out there. FYI, it will most likely be a sanctioned disc golf event for 2007 if it is held in Sheboygan again.
Thanks to everyone that helped run the event: TD Ryan T. Hornickel.
Jim VanLanen, Terry Miller, Julia Forcucci and anyone that I missed

thanks matt. I knew there had to be some reason why the overalls would be at vollrath, other than the history of the course. well put and thanks for not getting bent out of shape, i meant no disrespect, just an honest ?.

No problem!

I was born in Sheboygan and lived there until I came to college here in Milwaukee. Vollrath is the place I learned how to play disc golf. Growing up playing with Barry and others was defiantly a bonus.
I know most people think its "outdated" compared to other disc golf courses. It may not be too tough, but the best thing about that place is that there is still hundreds of kids there everyday playing. Its different, Vollrath has character and history.

Thanks!
