So who's playing the summer solstice tonight in this lovely weather. I heard around 4:00 there is supposed to be 70 MPH wind and hail. Is it even worth showing up?

If the hailstones stay out of the way I bet I could throw like 600' in a 70 mph tailwind, or left to right cross.

Well if the wind is blowing west to east then those divisions they chose to put on the monster are in trouble.

I did hear rumors that there will be no beer tonight.
Ashleys has withdrew our regular supply due to the new rules that the park is enforcing. I haven't actually seen the rules posted but I guess you are only allowed to drink while sitting at picnic table. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Again only rumors.

Anyway I'll be there...and if its not too bad I'll play.

No beer will be provided tonight at Solstice

Hudson Mills only allows drinking at picnic areas. Picnic areas have a picnic table and a grill. You are not allow to drink at every picnic table. They have never allowed drinking in or near the parking lot.

I talk to alot of rangers out there, I have been told several times that as long as you're not in the parking lot, you are AOK. But I think the rangers take advantage of the fact that the rules on this subject are very hard to find, and they will hassle you if you give them a hard time.

Bill, where did you hear the picnic area rule? I could be wrong.

I just talked to Jerry Cyr at Hudson Mills. They have changed the drinking rules this year. Last year it was only in picnic areas.

Drinking beer is allowed on the disc golf course during league and casual play. No drinking while playing during the DGLO because it is a PDGA event.

No excessive drinking or disorderly conduct.
No minors drinking will be tolerated.
No drinking in the parking lot.
No urinating outside. Players must use the restroom facilities. They have already issued tickets to players.

Drinking is allowed at the picnic tables away from the parking lot near the practice tee pad. No drinking at the picnic table that is next to the league score box.

Thanks Bill! It's true, watch where you pee!!! I've seen 2 people get busted now, when our group is completely alone out on the course, noone in sight. And now they might go on the sex offender's list. Total BS!!! I know I'm hiking deeeep into the woods now. BS!!

It's true, watch out! I was playing with my brother the other day and we saw a guy cuffed and carted off in one of the golf carts for smoking the ganj. BE CAREFUL!!!
