I'm not protesting/contesting your decision. I can think of no better person to represent Arkansas than Keldog. But in the future, I think the state coordinator, whoever that be, should consider this a MAJOR and IMPORTANT disc golf event for the state and nation and more thought should be placed on who "we" send. I think Watson is a great guy and ambassador for Arkansas, just as Ash and Ganzel were. But we should seriously consider something like you mentioned such as a point system based on tourneys to decide who we send to USDGC. Watson, if you want some "lucky" discs for USDGC (like the ones i gave to ganzel), let me know. GOOD LUCK!

Congrats Keldog! I think you'll do a great job representing your state. Heck you even represent OK well! Thanks for all your help with our new courses here in T-Town! Good luck at USDGC's!

This will be considered a major and important event. What's more important to me right now is establishing a larger base of competition which means more courses and more tourneys.Next year we will have a series.4 tourneys,Possably 5.(Northshores'2nd Invitational,Ben Geren Blowout,Clarksville is officially in the ground,There's one,Alma Greens and hopefully if things go well this weekend Little Rock will get on board.Oh yeah there's the State Championships! That could mean 6 chances to gather points)THIS will be the way to a USDGC invite.Who knows Russellville may be in the ground by then as well.A simple points system will be in place and a percentage of each event could help in sending whoever wins. Now that person could be almost anybody.Especially if we help cover the entry fee or motel.I think with the Worlds out of the way,The work on these new courses finished,Far more local and neighboring players will be attending our events. You watch,Our future is looking brighter every day. You'd better focus on your A Game for now,We all had better.Competition will be much tougher in 07.

Thanks everyone,I'll try and make the cut.
Well Deserved! :)
No cut at USDGC.
You get to play all 4 rounds no matter how bad you play. :o
The Ash Quad could come in to play this year...
If Keldog wins Am Worlds, and then plays Pro Worlds at Augusta, I will then pay his entire entry fee to the USDGC.
If he just plays at Am Worlds, and then Pro Worlds, I'll pay $100.00 of his USDGC entry fee.
Here are the original guidelines-
Who will be the next disc golfer to complete the "Ash Quad"?
Will you be the next player to play in the PDGA World Doubles, Am Worlds, Pro Worlds and the USDGC in the same year?
I am offering to pay $100.00 of your entry fee to the USDGC if you meet the "Ash Quad" criteria.
In the same year you must-
1. Play World Doubles
2. Play Am Worlds
3. Play Pro Worlds
4. Get an invite and play in the USDGC.
As added incentive- If you win your division at World Doubles and Am Worlds, then play Pro Worlds, I will pay your entire USDGC entry fee- if you are invited and choose to play.
Just trying to raise the bar for y'all.
Historically, the FDGC/NWADGA has contributed $125.00 toward the State USDGC Representative entry fee.
I hope that tradition will continue.
I know for a fact that Keldog has also contributed a lot of his own money, apart from the "club" money, to help our past representatives out. Let's give something back to him. :)

Congatulations Kelly, you deserve this. :D I say let the tradition continue, I'm sure the club will be happy to lend a helping hand full of money. In fact, one of a kind Team Donkey discs are now available to raise money for the new practice basket, and you can also help send Watson to the US Open of disc golf. I would not have been able to go without a little help from my friends. For now, I'll say don't speed down the smoky mountains at three in the morning...if you bring a heating pad, be sure it's one of those exploding kind...most importantly, when you're just opening your eyes and you hear 'good morning sweety' and you hear little kissy noises...wake Mike up! :D:D:D
