Widefield Course Pulled

David ‘SK8′ Kendrick sent sad news that Widefield Park Disc Golf Course near Colorado Springs was vandalized on June 7. Fourteen of the baskets were bent to the ground (http://www.milehighdiscgolf.org/06events/images/bent_basket.jpg) or removed and thrown into the creek (http://www.milehighdiscgolf.org/06events/images/creek_basket.jpg). The remaining baskets were pulled to prevent additional damage. SK8 will update everyone on a plan to repair or replace the baskets. Some assistance may be requested of area disc golfers. An update will be posted as info becomes available.
