Southern Michigan and Northern Ohio (to my knowledge) DONT HAVE ANY TOURNEYS THIS SATURDAY!
Except TRIPLE THREAT that is...
So where will you go? Tough choice!
This is a unique, one of a kind event that Toledo (if not anybody) has never put on before!
Toledo Triple Threat is referring to Toledo's 3 local courses (2 of them are in Michigan!) ...Ottawa... ...Parmelee... ...and Vienna...
@ SIGN-IN:
-Pay entry fees
-Receive personalized Scorecard!
-Purchase lunch from Cottage Inn to be delivered after Ottawa round!
The uniqueness of this event can be seen in the method of play, ctps, scorecards, trophies and the ace pool... so pretty much everything huh?
METHOD OF PLAY:
(for those of you who came to the Secor Metropark event I ran last year this is not gunna be new or original to you! Sorry!)
We are going to play 3 rounds during the day
10 am - Ottawa
1 pm - Parmelee
4 pm - Vienna
At the start of each of the above rounds, you will draw a playing card (think POKER) and receive a partner from your SAME division... this will be a different partner at each course... I assure you...
So its just Random Draw Interdivisional Doubles at 3 Courses during one day with different partners at each course!
Simple huh?
CTPS:
I have special, new to disc golf, CTP's for the player that hits the CTP and their partner... small... but really cool... dont know if they'd work for any other event really!
Also Dave O'Shea (vendor) is donating a couple discs as well!
SCORECARDS:
Everybody when they sign-in will receive a personalized scorecard! SWEET!
That scorecard will have a map of each of the courses, rules of play, OB's for each course and places for scores!
THROPHIES:
We cannot reveal this information at this time... but think Sherwood forest disc golf!
ACE POOL:
We'll have an ace pool which is $1 per course (tough math = $3 day)
If nobody hits an ace at Ottawa, the ace pool collected for Ottawa will carry over to the ace pool for Parmelee...
If nobody hits the ace pool collected for Parmelee, it will be added to the ace pool for the Vienna round...
If nobody hits the ace pool at Vienna... we will have a throw off until SOMEBODY HITS METAL...
If more than one person hits metal for the ACE POOL... they will have a CTP for the CA$H!
