Jaycee Park Module
Come out and show your support for a disc golf course in this park. The more of you that show up, the more likely we will get the course. Kirk Yoo will be speaking so we just need people to be there to show support for the course.
A Master Plan Committee has been meeting for the purposes of developing a Master Plan for this park site and recently accepted a draft plan for forwarding to the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board. As a result, a Public Meeting will be held for the Forest Ridge Park Master Plan (amended March 22, 2006) on Thursday, May 18th at 5:30 PM at Jaycee Park Module, located 2405 Wade Avenue (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=2405+Wade+Avenue+raleigh+nc&om=1). This meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to present the Draft Master Plan to the Advisory Board and receive public comment. Upon consideration of the Plan, the Advisory Board will make a recommendation to City Council. Public comment will also be accepted for a two week period thereafter and can be sent to parkplan@ci.raleigh.nc.us; please include Forest Ridge in the subject line.
