Hey I was wondering if there where any minis on Sunday? I will be heading down this weekend for a wedding in Moore and wanted to hit up a course in Norman or OKC.

Someone attempted to steal another basket this week. When we got to hole 14 the basket had been dug out and was ready to load up. I don't know if someone playing had scared them off or what. We picked the basket up and plan on resetting it in a few days. Please be on the look out for people vandalizing the course.

We are having the same problem here, I don't know what is going on but it has never been this bad before.

I hate to say it but since
disc golf is a " poor mans golf "
the baskets at min are $100 ( more then a basketball hoop ) for the back yard
the sport is growing in leaps and bounds
TEEN age kids ( no money and lots of time on their hands ) are the biggest growing casuals

This is just a few of the reasons this epidemic is here
ALL I CAN SAY is mark your baskets with a lettering code HAMMER PUNCED IN them . We are doing that to our baskets now .
We have had 7 stolen in the last 3 years ( 5 perm and 2 temp ) with only one recoverd so far .

League Final is this Wednesday at Griffin. The final point standings are posted at normandiscgolf.com

Anyone can play in the mini, but the top 16 pros and top 8 ams are the only ones who can earn bonus money/merchandise.

The ace pot is over $400.

All 18 baskets are back in the ground and the city has been doing a lot of clean up at the course. There will be a work day on Sunday, August 13th at 4:00 pm. We will be working on 3s teebox and maybe 5s as well.

Sorry, but last week was the last week to get points. This week is the final. You can still come out and play the mini. This weeks final and mini are the same thing. Anyone can play tomorrow and everyone is playing against each other, but those players that made it into the top 16 pros or top 8 ams will earn extra bonus money/merch for high finishes.

The league is the only thing that is over. The mini at Griffin on Wednesday will continue until the end of September. The ace pot is always available.

Since I can't go to TFO this weekend :( I am going to start the mini at Griffin on Sunday at 1:00 this weekend. We will continue to have this mini on Sunday until early spring or until my wife kills me. Hope to see you all out there. Good luck to all those going to TFO, I wish I could go.

I think all weekday minis are done because of it getting dark earlier, and I m not sure how the Sunday mini was I was hung over and missed it but I will be there next Sunday.

Me Too, I got some rubber slip on that goes on over your shoes and has little metal nobs on the bottom, tested them out today and they were awesome. I never sliped once on the ice and I could walk down hill on ice without falling and I could get a good run up on my drives without sliping. I cant rember if Arcadia has concrete pads or not, but if we can throw from the sides that would be money for me.

It varies between 5-12, the course is getting mowed and playing easier as more people are out there, 17 is getting moved this weekend and we will be meeting with the city to show what has not been getting mowed. I know most don't like the course but come play the mini with others and it might change your mind.

Yeah the rough is rough but last night and A train was there the rough played no part in how people shot, just play it easy and smart and you are good. Though some holes do need the rough mowed I agree, but also some I think it adds a dimension to disc golf that is not usually seen and that is the rough, I think for the most part minus 4 or 5 holes the tall rough makes the course better. Those holes though are bad and we are working on it, but we cant do it by our selfs. But thanks for the support down from Texas.
