If anybody has a gmail/google account you can now use google calendar at the following address.

http://calendar.google.com/

If you would like to add RADL events or North Carolina PDGA events to your calendar I have set these up now and I will try to maintain this so you will receive the updates automatically on your calendar if you subscribe to the calendar.

To find the North Carolina PDGA events you will need to click on Other Calendars on the left and then search for PDGA. You should find the listing for the NC events.

To find the RADL events you will click on Other Calendars and then search for RADL to add this calendar.

You can then add the calendar to your personal calendar to see what events are upcoming. I have tried to link to the PDGA site for each PDGA event so players can see scores, preregistration, and any other event info that has been posted.

Let me know if I am missing events and I will get them added.

I have now also added a Piedmont Random Doubles schedule to google calendar that is public. You can now add this calendar to your google calendar if you would like.

If you have any difficulty PM me and I will help you get started.

I can see the Ice Bowl listed, look at the RADL CALENDAR that Mike Norris Posted above, go to January, and it is there.

I posted the NC PDGA calendar, and the Ice Bowl is *NOT* a PDGA event, but a RADL Monthly event. The Raleigh Winter Jam is a PDGA event, and it is on the NC PDGA calendar. That is also why you dont see both on one calendar.

Disc Golf is really becoming high tech. We are getting great at communicating, and assisting each other. This sport just gets better, and better. Wish my Game wood

One of my hopes for next year is to get 1 calendar that lists everything in the Raleigh area. PDGA events, RADL events, Homegrown events, Piedmont random doubles, Raleigh doubles, Chapel Hill doubles, Durham doubles, Monthlies from Raleigh, ChapHill, Durham, Sanford, etc. I think as a golfer it would be awfully convenient to have one calendar to get my bearings at. Obviously there is no need to including PDGA events that are outside 250 miles. I don't think I have the computer skills to do it. I've typically done it all long hand with flyers and post it's and chicken scratch on my home calendar. Could you guys make one master calendar? I'd even buy one for $5-10, as long as it was accurate and had some contact info listed with events, let me know if I can help, Carter

We talked about doing something like that Carter, having a calendar that listed everything from everywhere in one place. I'm not sure if you can combine google calendars into one, but on my own personal google calendar, I can see the RADL events, NC PDGA events, Kinston Events, and some others

We just have to work on keeping them up to date, I'm trying to start with the RADL and NC PDGA calendars.

It would probably be best to keep it an online calendar for the updating reasons, good call.

Bryan, can we outsiders from our locations within a 80 mile radius just email you with our tnmts info and you keep the site updated. With your youth, you prob are the most pc literate, however I know someone might prove me wrong. I vote for you dude.

absolutely rocky, I'll put anything online that you want. It might work to create a calendar specifically for the Sanford events, to list doubles and the monthlies

and as far as PC literacy goes, my 8-5 job is a computer software engineer, so i'm pretty handy with computer stuff (at least thats what they pay me for)

And carter, for printing the google calendars, if you subscribe to multiple public calendars, all the events show up on your own calendar, and in the Month view, there is a print icon that'll print out a slick calendar as a PDF doc of all the month's events

That would work well if we can get more events listed, like Bull City, Burlington, Sanford, Piedmont Random Doubles (which has a calendar), Kinston has one already, and whoever else has disc golf events

That doesn't make sense to me. If you have a highlighted link in your post for me to click on, I can do it. I tried to get an online calendar going, it ended quickly.

first, you have to get a Google email account, I've send you an invite to Gmail to your current email address.

Then you can take a look at the Google Calendar stuff at http://www.google.com/intl/en/googlecalendar/tour.html

last, but not least, once you get your google calendar up and running, you can search for public calendars for "RADL" and "PDGA" and add those so you can see the events we post show up on your own

since you still need a subscription or a referral so you can get a GMail account, PM me your email address and I'll send you one to get you signed up.

I've added the Buckhorn open, Pro Crosstown, and Charlotte Open since the dates are set for those events.

More to come as the details for everything else is finalized.

I think Mike is going to get a calendar set up for NC Monthlies, so we can put the RADL monthlies, Sanford, Burlington, Durham, Greenville, and whoever else has monthlies on there.
