MOST IMPORTANT DETAIL -- IF you THINK you might come, let us know now so that we can get your name on the REDSTONE Access list. Without it, we will not be able to get you onto the base the day of the tournament. This is a rare chance to get to play a course that is normally closed to civilians!

Make plans to join the Rocket City Chain Gang for the 3rd Alabama Amateur open on March 25 & 26, the last weekend in March. If you like playing Redstone Arsenal, Ginger's trophies and great payouts then this is your tournament! We will have a minimum of $700 added to the tournament!

As always with Redstone I am going to need advance notice of your attendance by Friday 3/24 so I can get the access list to the Redstone guys. Post here or e-mail me at jaskolka@hiwaay.net

David,

Have you posted this on the Tournaments page?

I cannot wait for this tournament. But I have to muddle my way through Atlanta first!

Will UAH be all in the long placements???

Yeah its posted on the tournaments thread.

I think we have decided to leave UAH setup the way it currently is and probably is the same as the last you played it, which is to say its in the relative shorts. I havent played it recently so i cant recall. I'll make sure we post it soon, Chris is still working on the program. We did recently shoot the distances to redstone and brahan with a laser though so you will have accurate distances. Brahan was straight distances and Redstone we shot the "fairways".

At Brahan, you must of been careful to not measure that dang second hidden tree on everyhole blocking the routes to the baskets.

Actually, I have spent some time practicing at Cottage Hill and Bowers Park. So Brahan is going to seem wide open. Plus I can just throw forehand rollers on a lot of those holes at Brahan. After all it is statistcally harder to hit a tree with a vertical disc then a horizontal discs. I just need to be careful of the pine cones.

Wish you could have gone to Atlanta. See you in a few weeks.
