Hog Bag Tag Challenge 2006

Here it is Hog Tags 2006. This year it will be $20 dollars for the tags with $5 going to the end of the year tourney, and the rest of the money going to the club besides the expense of getting the tags. It is going to be a fun year so get ready. Denny has drawn a great design and the guy at the tag place has fixed it up for us, let me know what you think. Hog Tags are ordered and on the way. Numbers one through four are reserved. The rest are up for grabs if you want a gold one I should be at the ice bowl on saturday and you can reserve a tag. The tags should come in next week! :D

In case anybody asks....I actually shot a 54 the first round at redhawk....which means I whooped the Arkansas State Champion's (explitive) and went from World Tag 111 to World Tag 011....Boooyaaaa! I also got Hog Tag 6 for any of you that think your's have dropped yet! :D:D:D

Hog Bag Tag Challenge Tournament has been scheduled for the 4th and 5th of November. If there are more than 32 players it will be a two day event if you make it that far. If there are 32 or less it will be a one day event. Tags freeze Monday the 30th of October after the Oklahoma Open. If you can please contact me with your tag number and if you are going to attend on or after the 30th. The tournament does not cost anything as long as you have a tag. If you do not have a tag then you can buy one and play in the tournament. It is a match play tournament. So it is played by each hole not by total score. There will be CTPs. We will pay the top eight. The top four will get a free tag next year.

I just wanted to say thanks to all for putting on the Hog Tag Tourney. I had alot of fun. Thanks for Kelly for bringing the food. By the way mayo and mustard would have been great! Mayo was a bit upset about it I think!! :oThanks to Darrell for cooking the food. Thanks Kyle and Dasun for setting up the tourney. No one worry my wife didn't murder me when I got home. I think I will be putting my phone on silent from now on! :D As to the winner Bob.

It was your post a few spaces up that made me feel it necessary to post what I did. That does not mean that the post was directed only at you. Rather, it was directed at everyone that is involved with this club. I just want everyone to realize that if we continue to bicker and run people off, eventually there will be no one to run off. Honestly, there are so many fueds going on right now I can't even keep track. I don't think that any of them are doing any good for disc golf, which is hopefully what we are all here for. This is just my opinion, but I feel like you guys should know. I am not asking for apologies or anything of the sort (as far as I know no one owes me one). I have never failed to let anyone know how I feel. I wasn't taking shots at anyone. I was letting you know how I see things. I just wanna see all of this dead in the water. A change in attitude and behavior is in order.

I doubt that, my course in STL brings up the BEST new AM1 players in the city. You know why, because we take them there. Discgolf is about bringing the best, out of the best. I never say it AIN'T OR CAN'T so unless you have no morals. You have to have, some morals to play the game. I think, you are no different. I would say I would give you 10 strokes but that would be against my, CRAPS morals :). The canyon is just a golf course. Sorry you feel, whatever, way you are feel. I am just a golfer that likes to see, people that want to succeed, in this sport, succeed.

Walking into the canyon the first time is about like walking into Blackhawk the first time. It doesn't appear all that tough looking out over the course but about half way up hole 3's fairway, you WILL look back and think WTF?, We're going where?

At hole 9 you will hope a passing car is coming into the canyon for a ride back to the lodge. And when you do get back and another group going is going out and asks if you want to play, I promise you will hold up one finger at them, crawl up on your porch and mutter Holy Crap. :o:D

After a 3 hour nap you will be ready for another. :D
