You and Gordo should have no problem (baggers, ha). Others who are wanting in don't have that high rank ya'll do. The wait list on March 1 will is the key for many. I think I'll get in if Stephen plays as I think that one of the criteria is family gets in (right behind international players).

I heard...you, me, Stephen (son), Rob, V, Matt, Gordo, Nate, Bo, Jon, Chris, Sheri, Larry are all possibilities...and likely others? I wonder who from the region is going? Tom in El Paso was thinking about it. I would think that Chris Brooks in Big Spring is a go. I can say that it was the most fun I've ever had playing DG (Flagstaff Worlds 2006)...I had hotel problems and car problems and leg issues, but I did'nt have to run anything...it really made playing DG enjoyable.

If you all are serious about comming to Worlds, then get your rooms booked. They haven't sent out invites yet and we are about 25% booked. Once the invites hit and the wait list, the hotel could possibly fill. ;)

I had the privledge of going to tulsa and arkansas about two weeks ago. played most of the courses that will be used. haikey and mcclure are super sweet. can't wait!!!!!!!!! If you get a chance to go before worlds, head east to jasper arkansas and play the canyon dude ranch course, probably my favorite course all time. No B.S.!!!

I've heard nothing but good about the Tulsa folks, the Tulsa Club, and the Tulsa courses...hope all is twuuu. I also see that the tourney will fill many divisions and thus hotels in the area...I made reservations about a month ago. I travel a bunch....the hotel price is VERY VERY good....Lubbock get hotel rooms ASAP.

Misti is playing. She doesnt play very often, but loves to play when she can. We plan on leaving the kids with the grandparents...so, we can both have a great time without other responsibilities.

Misti's sister and husband live in Tulsa. We get up there at least once a year. The Tulsa DG group is great! Lots of support, lots of good players...and a good variety of courses that are ALL fun...even the pitch and putt (which I think will only be on the Juniors play list). Theres only one 9-hole course I dont play.

We are going again this March. I hope they have some of the new courses in the ground by then so I can check them out. Soon as income tax comes in, we are booking rooms at the host hotel. Cant wait!!

It hurts to read that post above...'putting on my new basket'. :mad::mad::( :( :p :p I signed up March 1, the wait is about my only hope. Stephen has only played a few times since Flagstaff...school, cars, sports has taken him away. Not sure when our next deadline will be.
