Free agent? Cool, I'm signing you up to team MiTTenZZ then. I'll give you $5 a year and let you throw whatever discs you want. The only thing I want in return is you wear a big ol MiTTen shirt, and mittens on your hands when it gets cold out. OH yeah, and also pump up team miTTenZZ wherever you go and worship me as your lord and savior. Sound fair?

I might have to get down there for that. Only played Renny Once and it was like a hundred degrees and I quit after 13 holes. But that was back when I sucked at golf too. When you guys going to put a stamp on some REAL (http://www.discraft.com) plastic???

That tournament says Total Purse=$0. Sounds like a lame [I'm a potty-mouth!] event to me.
You could always get picked up by www.latitude64.se (http://www.latitude64.se) and use their 4 discs.

There's only 4 discs anyone needs (not necessarily just 4 in the bag, but 4 different molds): Buzzz (naturally), Challenger, Orc, Teebird. All other discs are useless (except the occassional 5th disc-Predator)

Jan 25 2006, 09:50 AM

Mittenz

Buzzz is better than a Roc
Aviar, Challenger, whatever
Tbird is a must
F the Wraith, it's useless and unpredictable.

Just when I was starting to respect your opinion.

5th disc - Predator

Sorry...doesn't even come close to the predictability and stability of a Firebard.

11x-Rock/x-Buzz
KC-CE-Teebird
KC-Firebird/Z-Predator
Pro Line Wraith-this disc is amazing!!!Believe that!

Thats all you need

My last 2 rounds I have been killin' it

-shot a -10 form Buckhorns white tee, with a bogey and after 2 weeks of not playing

-shot a -9 at Zeb bogey free and had 1&2 to go.

The mixed bag is working for me. Find what works for you and don't be afraid to experiment.

If you take out the possibility of pred and buzzz you're still all innova buddy. Or do you have a roc AND buzzz in the bag and firebird AND pred?
Pred is faster, more predictable, better glide, and just as overstable. Real trusty in a stiff headwind.

snoophaney
Jan 26 2006, 05:38 PM
I was letting you know what was in da bag.

The Predator is less stable than my Firebird, which I like.

Mittenz
Jan 26 2006, 05:49 PM
Bah. Maybe the preds coming out these days are a little less overstable...either that or you're just a powerhouse.

The mark of a true professional.
It's not the name on the discs you throw but the size of the balls you carry.

Walt after conversations with you I can't say I'm surprised that you dropped. Much respect for you for standing up for what you believed in. And although we are getting out of the business you'll always be a lifetime member of Team Disclanding.

Best wishes with being a free agent. Now go win Worlds or better yet the USDGC and be heard brother.

I know my Z Preds are SICK OVERSTABLE. I cant wait to see if Discraft brings out a plastic to compete with Innovas Star plastic. I really hope they do because I could use some discs for when its wet outside :D

Snoop, its good to see your throwing some Discraft plastic. Have you tried the XL or Avenger yet???

otimechamp
Jan 26 2006, 06:38 PM
isnt Innova star plastic the same stiff X stuff that discraft has been putting out for a few years now?

Nope. Discraft's X Plastic is no where near as durable as their Z. Innovas new Star plastic is their Champion plastic with an added agent for grip. They say its as durable as champion just with alot better grip. X plastic has more grip then Z but is not nearly as durable.

the_kid
Jan 26 2006, 08:57 PM
The Star blend is really good in that it holds its shape really well but it is also really bad in the scuff deparment. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Mittenz
Jan 27 2006, 07:28 AM
MilZZ, just get a microfiber towel, then wet doesn't matter. Those things make even the wettest Z plastic perfectly dry and not sticky in seconds. Worth the $1-3 investment.

Yes I have. I lke the N.D. Avenger better than the Z and I don't think that I liked the XL.
