Amazing weekend. It was good to see the sun again, it's been a while. A lot of Berkeley style wind, which they said was wierd because it hadn't been windy all week, made for some crazy game play. We were down by 4 after Sat., with some pretty crappy game play from Jonah and myself but managed to pull out a push for that day. According to Oates, who arrived early to the card/grill area on Sunday after his round was done, said the score wasn't looking good for Norcal early on. It got to the point as cards were comming in that we had to not loose a single card or we were out. That was w/ like 7 cards to go!!! As we started to come in, Rodger, Brian, myself, and Jonah ended up being the last two cards out there and as we walked in Oates came up and was like "what happened?" w/ exuberance all over his face. We told him that we'd each gotten a point out of our matches and he smiled and said that should be one for the tie and then the win by ONE!!! AMAZING!!! To win by one. AMAZING. To all the NORCALERS who battled on Sunday, you ROCK!!! It was a complete team effort. Everybody pulled it out together. What a great weekend!!!
