Entry fee: $15 for everyone
Charity: TBA...but will be a local food bank.

Should be some twists and turns in the format with those Jerky people assisting! ;)

It's time to make plans for my favorite tournament of the year.

The 2006 Rocket City Ice Bowl will be at Brahan Spring Saturday February 18th.

Sponsorships are welcome. $25 for a tee sign. All proceeds will go to the Food Bank of North Alabama.

-8:00 to 9:00 AM Sign Up
-9:15 Player’s Meeting 9:30 Start
-AM round of singles
-Chili for Lunch (Bring a pot of your favorite to share)
-$15 entry all divisions (Men’s and Lady’s Am & Pro)
-Afternoon round of Pro-Am doubles (Both scores count toward your total)
-Mulligans available for $2 each or 3 for $5, max of three per person 1st round only.
-Dirty mulligans (make someone throw that great shot again!) available for $2. 1 per person 1st round only.
-New bag tags for RCCG members
-Ice bowl discs to the first 70 paid entrants
-8:00-9:00 Registration
-Cool Ice Bowl Trophies for the division winners
-Donations of non-perishable food items will also be accepted for the food bank

No sanctioning due to the fun and funky format and the fact that we want to make the largest donation possible to help out those less fortunate than ourselves.

Invite everyone you know out for a great time! No whimps, no whiners, no excuses!

The 2007 Rocket City Ice Bowl will be at Brahan Spring Saturday January 6th.

Sponsorships are welcome and are broken down as follows.

$50 gets you your entry, a hole sponsorship with a mulligan on that hole each round and an Ice Bowl stamped disc in Star plastic (I'll have 4 Star Valks and 5 Star T-Rex's, first come first serve. Hole 14 is mine so don't even ask)

$30 gets you your entry, a hole sponsorship with a mulligan on that hole each round and an Ice Bowl stamped Pro Wraith.

All proceeds above tournament expenses will go to the Food Bank of Northern Alabama. This is a charity tournament so there will be no prizes beyond trophies for first in Pro, Am and ladies divisions.

An additional 30 discs in DX plastic will be part of the regular player pack along with an Ice Bowl mini.

Ok, this is a little tongue-in-cheek, but why not just hand out the food that's collected to the homeless people already in Brahn and around the course??! ;)
