The Augusta Disc Golf Association is very proud to announce that we have pledged to raise $5000 to become a Gold sponsor in the National Disc Golf Center endowment fund program. Furthermore, we challenge all disc golf clubs to sponsor this very worthwhile program at any level to help fund this landmark project.

$5000 is a tremendous amount of money to raise for a small club such as the ADGA. Our plan is to raise $2500 through individual $100 member contributions and an additional $2500 by hosting a charity event in the near future at the new Hippodrome course that will be used in next year's world championships.

We encourage all clubs and individuals to participate in this program. As a PDGA affiliate club and host club of the NDGC, we want to set an example and also let everyone know that our community is very committed to the success of the National Disc Golf Center, which will open in 2006.

Who is up for this challenge?

Regards,
Brian Graham

Arent the World going to be in Agusta this year???
Why isn't there any information, no website, no dates, no courses used, no host hotel info.
I know everyone down there is SUPER busy, I'm just surprised there has not been one mention of the WORLDS 06 anywhere.

TThanks.

Augusta Disc Golf Association members have already pledged $2700 in member contributions towards our goal of becoming a Gold level sponsor of the PDGA National Disc Golf Center. We expect to have well over $3000 raised in the next couple of weeks. The balance of our $5000 sponsorship contribution will be raised in a future charity tournament to be held at the new Hippodrome Course in North Augusta on a date to be determined.

For details on how you or your club can make a tax deductible contribution to help the PDGA create the first world class training and competition facility for our sport, see the NDGC Endowment Fund brochure. (http://pdga.com/documents/NDGCendowment.pdf)
