How much does the weight of the putter affect its flight? Will they fight heavy wind?

Yes. I had a 149g Omega super-soft that was a nightmare in windy conditions. A heavy Aviar or Challenger works much better. If it is super-windy you can try putting/throwing upside down (short shots only) or use a more stable mid-range for putting.
