Solstice Event

I plan on coming down from the Ludington area for the solstice event wednesday. I was wondering if anyone could compare the original course to Beauty/Beast/Goliath/Flip City. I've thrown all 4 of those courses more times than I can count, and I have recently moved up to AM-2 from AM-3, which I am still questioning having done. No matter what, I plan on coming down for it, but I'm just curious which devision would be best for me.

You'll be playing the Original Shorts -- people tend to play up in this event so play Am2. The Reds aka Original Shorts are not really like any of those courses in particular but for the most part, there is nothing on Red that you haven't seen at one of those courses. Overall, it is tighter than Beast or Flip City but not as tight as Beauty although it is longer than Beauty.

Mostly flat, average length of about 280, 2 holes have water. This event usually pays out the same 1 disc to all cashers, no matter the division. It's usually the new limited edition disc for DGLO, so play whatever division you will cash in, I say :)
This is a very casual, fun event.

We'll see how tomorrow is. I just found out that I have gum surgery tomorrow morning, so I might be pretty gassed up still by the time I get there. Are you guys testing for performance enhancing drugs? does NOS count?

Well, a late response, but anyways. I had a BLAST at this event. It was my first exposure to the original course. Man is that a fun course. I ended up playing the extra holes because I didn't realize that we were only playing 18. We ran into a backup after the extras and joined a group of locals which made the course even more enjoyable. Thanks for the great tourney.

Oh, and I was 1 stroke out of plastic. Maybe I SHOULDN'T have had a couple refreshmants. I even stuck around to help cleanup.
