Go out & purchase a skillshot. I've built a basket & by the time you buy the chain & matierials you'll end up having spent near a skillshot. The skillshot is very easy to store and set up.
cool thanks for the info.

I built one with some extra wood I had, but had to buy the chains and some necessary hardware. Made it exactly the same in target size to a DisCatcher. Spent $50-60 on materials.
I'm happy to sell it to you for $20 if you want - and the $20 will go to the Renny Mules tournament. I'm in Charlotte. PM me if you are interested.
unless you are crafty and have a welder available, i'd say just buy your own. if you really wanted you could buy individual parts, but that can get pretty ex$pen$ive :D
I do weld and since the price of steel has gone up I can't waste much. anybody got pics? guess thats what i was looking for.

I might be intersted in that basket, mr info guy. I'm working on a little course of sorts in the yard, does it weather the elements well? I can't remember what it looks like anymore.

Here are some dimensions. You will still need diameters, but you can measure those from your local course baskets. I have been planning on building one or several also.

How did you mount the tire?
looks like a pretty good idea for a back yard basket

there is still plenty of tread left on there.
