Word I heard is they just folded. Suspicion was that disc golf alone couldn't support a business.
What?!? I have a gift certificate to there from christmas still for like $50. Does anyone have a contact for them?

i just knew them from goin in there. good thing i used my gift certificate for there right away.
Aaron, i'll give you 1/10 th value of your gift certificate at The Ace Place. And you can keep the gift certificate. That sucks that Disclusive went under already. Our 3rd year anniversery is coming up in April and this may be our last year if our sales don't pick up. DON'T BUY DISCS ON THE WEB!! GET THEM FROM YOUR LOCAL STORE OR CLUB THAT SUPPORTS THE SPORT. And it's always better to feel a disc before you buy it. :)
: ( Just went to kensington for the first time today with a friend, twas nice, but a little confusing one the holes across the street. Half the trip was to see two nice stores that had a good selection of discs. Got to disclusive and the place was completely empty. Very confusing and dissappointing. Didn't they just open? Ya discgolf would be hard to support a small business like that with, especially during non summer months.
Well I think the main reason they couldn't stay open was that they had to have "every disc on the market" there. I mean they had stuff like tracers in stacks. Now is a stack of tracers worth the money to just sit there? Unless there's people out there that throw them they shouldn't carry them in that high of quantities. ESPECIALLY for a starting business! Yeah its cool to go in there and be like wow they have lots of every disc out on the market!, but its not like it will influence me to buy any more or less that I would plan on buying. They probably would've had a better chance of selling their zephyrs or condors as a flying saucer sled, than as a disc. I think another con of their business is for beginner players. What are they supposed to tell someone that has never played or is just starting on advice of what to get?; it would be like information overload on what disc does what, and why this disc is better than that one, and why these ones don't sell as much as those ones, and why etc.... Well anyways, it was a cool store and I still am -$50 in discs :( .
Well at least there are a couple of places you can get a disc within 2.5 miles of Kensigton. I just set up the Copper Creek Vinyard on Grand River with a rack of 100 widely assorted discs, bags, towels, minis and hats. There should be more places in the near future.
Check out some photos:

That looks like decent selection of discs.
The owners of Disclusive sent me an e-mail. They said they had to shut down because they tried to open the store in the wintertime. They said they still have stock and can still supply discs. So, if anybody needs any disc equipment, please try to contact them!
Alright! I've left messages at all phone #'s and email addresses, but I guess I'll try again
