It is a membership organization. One would hope that non-members get the shaft. I think what we need is a longer, wider, rougher shaft!

By the way, me and mine will be done being inactive members at the next tournament.

Why would you want to give anyone the shaft just because they are nonmembers?

We were all nonmembers once.

One man's shaft is another man's membership benefits. Maybe that analogy does not work so well if you think about it too long!

When Grunion-or-whatever-he-wants-to-call-himself-now is not treated like a member because he is not a member that is because membership has its benefits which he has chosen to forego.

Currently I cannot look up my stats. Am I complaining about getting the shaft? When I want to look up my stats I'll pay my dues. But since I just paid $635 for sanctioning and insurance for a summer's worth of tournaments, I need to sell a few frisbees to pay for my dues!

Reminds me of that old Janis Joplin song, "Oh, lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz. My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends."

PDGA members are 'driving Porsches' because they pay dues. If someone wants one of those 'Porsches', all they have to do is join.

Remember, this thread started with this sentence: "I have to agree with Shua when he states that users are not treated equally" Yep, that's right. Members paid dues, they get better treatment than people who don't want to join the club. Kind of a no-brainer isn't it?

Yep kinda like this SWEET country club I drive by as I pull into my apartment complex. I would love to go play a few rounds on those holes, but you have to be a member, and the $5k yearly membership is enough to keep me away. I guess that is why I am a disc golfer and not a ball golfer. :D

Because Non-members are like Hobos they just want to ride the train for free and let someone else pay for it :D
