I'm still looking for my 169g Z-Pred in the water at Cedar...about 25 feet past the drop zone pad, 20 right...
That thing was money! Until it went in the water that is, then it quickly became worthless.

I have about 4 or 5 discs in the pond. Lets have a get your plastic out of the pond party! Who is jumping in first???

Sep 12 2005, 03:47 PM
Sorry guys. I'm sitting here looking at this nice suit to go in the pond laying on the floor. This new job is taxing my time for all my hobbies, not just DG. Where I used to go in and retrieve discs once or twice a week now I am lucky if I can even get in a round of DG once a month let alone think about returning some of your discs.

The pro event this past weekend has made me think about going by there today if I can since I actually have a day off for once. If you have the time, come out and keep me company say start at 5:30 - 6:00 'ish. Should have cooled off by then and still couple hours before dark.

On another note, found a white'ish 10x cheetah a few days ago out at East Wake hole #2, laying right in the middle of the fairway 25 ft from the pin :p It has a name/number on it but is currently in Knightdale so I can't post it but will call them asap.

Would love to see some friends out there this evening, you don't have to go in, just keep me company. Plus, if you lost one in there you can better show me where it is. Lets get some of these returned.

Argh, well I was ready to go out the door and got called in due to someone not showing up at work. Sorry Dan. If I had gotten a response here before then I may have put work on hold.

Oh, and that disc I found wasn't a cheetah, it's a Gazelle, 175g. Has AHM on the bottom. I'll give them a call.

Some honesty for you...
A nice Disc Golf fellow by the name of David George called me from Wilmington, claiming to have found a Roc that I had aced with a long time ago. He found this disc at Zebulon, I lost it at Cedar...?
But, this nice fellow returned the disc postage and all!! I will never forget and if I ever have a chance to repay him, I will!

kdiddy, glad to hear you got your disc back and there is no need for payback karma is what i invested in. believe me i have discs laying all over eastern N.C. if you are playing the sneaky i will be there so look for me would like to meet you for sure. just a few props for what you guys got going on in raliegh. i am super impressed with the web site the club and all the courses. you guys are a model for what Disc Golf can be so keep up the good work. :D

Found a green Coyote at Cedar Hills on #9 with no name and just a mere three feet away, an unscratched Quarter K with no name. Any claims?

Oct 02 2005, 09:32 PM
Found a 10X KC Pro Eagle at Zebulon #7 today. PDGA# 11941, Jason Antonacci. I tried calling the phone number on the disc with no luck. If anyone knows this guy, please let him know I have his disc and either reply here or email me.

So, I figure if I came back and played cedar at least the karma gods would do me some good, but they sucked my disc into the drink on hole 7. Booo. It's on the basket side, probably about 10 feet in, in front of the two trees left of the basket. It was my money driver - white 11x t-bird w/ rainbow stamp. 155 so it's useless to anyone else, but it's got my name a cell # on the back. :(

oh yeah, and i'm headed back to colorado on saturday. hrmph.

Jan 09 2006, 01:10 PM
Useless to ALMOST anyone else... :D Hopefully, someone will find it and get it back to you!

I took a dip in #7 at Cedar Hill this afternoon (yes I'm crazy) and the water was @#$*!? freezing. A little bit of neoprene goes a long way. Retrieved a total of 22 discs, most without any info. Here's what I got:
-KC Pro Aviar? black with 8th Annual B.H.M.O stamp... #24160
-Discraft Stratus...white with Disc Ithaca stamp...name of Pedro Farley
-Pro Classic Roc....white with last name Lewis
-KC Roc"k"...white (sent email)
-JLS green/yellow swirl...Nick Foust

Also found DX Beast, DX Valkyrie, Pro Monster, (3) Pro Wraiths, (2) DX Gazelle, 10x KC Pro Eagle, DX Cobra, Special Edition Leopard, Ch. Eagle, Ch. Viking, Unknown disc with Doe Valley Open 2001 stamp

Email or call me to claim any of these after describing color and weight.

If you happen to go back in there...about 8-12 feet in directly in front of the two trees left of the basket...white 11x teebird, i already went in with bare feet and short a week and a half ago before we got this warm weather...after about a minute or so my legs were giving out so couldn't get it. The may be a pair of mittenz in it for you! Or ya know, some brand new disc you might want.

Yeah, Hey, I lost a couple of Carcasses on hole 3 & 4. Somewhere on the left side of the hole, you'll know your close if you start gagging. :D:) Seriously, I did put a purple 172-4 champ Orc in the pond, towards the middle from trees on left. Faded CA on the bottom. Worth a ten spot to me.

I don't really have a lot of hope for this one, but I seem to have left my red LL Bean shell vest out at Kentwood a couple nights ago. And unlike the white Sabre I left at Valley Springs not long before that, it doesn't have my name on it.

MiTTenZZ
Feb 08 2006, 09:57 AM
Who knows, 5, 6? But I think I've gotten at least 3 back...I think total I'm out 3 Buzzz's (blue, blue, green) and one super buTTery perfect Z-Pred. It's perfect up until you try to flick it from the super super long tee and your arm is already dead and you weenie it half way over the water.
Driver...BAH! I'd say I've made it over with a buzzz a good 50+ times, just a little short on a few of those.
