Friday, November 26 - day after Thanksgiving. DON'T GO TO THE MALL! COME TO THE ACE RACE INSTEAD!

Registration opens at 10:30am with the players meeting at Noon. Two consecutive rounds (no break between rounds) on the modified 18 hole course. The entry fee is $15.00 this year. $12.00 goes to the ace pool, $3.00 for dot pot items and tournament expenses. (permit, porta potty, etc.)

Given good weather, the field could get up in the neighborhood of 150-180 players. That's a nice ace pool which could get over $2k.

Thanks for posting this notice, Terry.

Just so folks aren't confused given the prolifferation of knock-off events, they should know this is the original ace race. Players use their own assortment of discs but only drives are played. There are penalties for putts. Even if the weather is crappy (as usually happens this time of the year) play moves along very quickly and another shot at big bucks is around every corner.

I think this year we should all try to focus our psychic energy on Gordy and see if we can't swing some good karma his way!

Disc Golf Live will be there, and if the weather is reasonable dry the cameras will be out.

Way to jinx it Aaron. I think its supposed to snow. Even with last years horrible weather 7 aces were hit. I also encourage all that can make it to come it's a blast.

Congratulations on your ace, Brooke. Saving it until the final drive on the final hole, with the rest of your group clustered around the basket, made it that much more memorable.

It was a pleasure playing with you, but I wish I could've had at least one of your "dots"...
