I threw a disc today for the first time since the KCWO in June. I stopped after a few holes as I was a danger to the other players in my group.
I'm going to try to play a full 18 tomorrow with the goal of breaking 90. :o
I will never be able to throw as far as I used to and that is something that is hard to accept. :(
BTW- I bought a really cheap laptop that gets the internet for free. :cool:

And what a coincidence, I hit it with the HotB CFR glow orc that I got from Ty. I wasn't wearing a glove though.

An odd occurance happened today at NorthShore during a round with Buck, BarryJoe, and Hunter. After watching the previous mentioned three tee from hole 13's pad, I threw a sidearm champ orc that sailed on a pretty line through the gap--only to hear a LOUD "CHING" sound. As there was a group of about six finishing on 12, I wasn't quite sure if there was a putt made over there,or indeed the chains had impeded the flight of my Orc. Hunter told me I aced it, then the group on 12 started whooping and hollering, wondering who threw the ace. Semi embarrassed I raised my hand,only to have it slapped three times in a row----(quite hard). Sure enough, upon closer inspection-there lay the Orc in question in the bottom of the basket. Made sure my group signed as witnesses. Quite a fine day! :eek:

I think mine was with an Orc, and I traded it to Zach before I left. With my luck it's the same Orc, and I gave away some magical ace Orc. :D
I'd like to come back Bob, it's been below freezing here for a month, we had two days last week when it got up to about 34 at mid day. I got out once.
We had about 6 inches of snow this weekend, so it will be a while before I can play here.

I had the good fortune of meeting and playing the mini last night with Hyzerhog. Not only does he represent the Uof A golf club, he has become the newest member of the NWADGA. Several players from The Fort and several from Russellville came up for the new 5:30pm mini at Northshore. Even Watson showed up! I guess the $310 Ace Pot has something to do with the draw. Should be enough players next time to have an AM division. I'll see to that :DI was most impressed that the park was virtually empty of other activity, and play flowed nicely with three cards!

1. Rachel's Pink Roc (says "Girl Power" on it) on hole 2, just to the left of the last tree before the land bridge.
2. 11x KC Pro Teebird White disc with Yellow and Orange Swirl Dye on hole 3, just to the left of the 1st tree after the land bridge
3. Red SB Orc, X-out stamp, same as location above.
4. Red Star TL, Maceman Stamp, hole 5, in the lake on left about halfway between the teepad and basket, 30-40 ft out.

If anyone can retrieve any of those, especially #1 and #2, I will give a reward of cash or collector's disc, your choice. Thanks.

Good luck finding anything out at Bella Vista, I went out scuba diving with my dad and chris eads in the lake between the water holes in the beginning of April after the tournament. We were out there for about an hour. I was hoping to find a buzz and a predator I lost, and maybe some other discs, but ended up finding nothing, Randal is right about the sediment, I could stick my arm in the bottom and never touch a hard surface.So I would consider any disc thrown in the lake lost forever.

A friend of mine lost his favorite driver (I am thinking it was a LS Polaris) in the lake on hole 12. It has his name (Eric Savage) and # on it, so if anyone happens on it while searching the lake I would like to see him get it back. He is new to the game (he saw me play when I was teaching at Alma) and he has gotten interested enough to push for a Disc Golf club again at the Alma Middle School, and he is looking into getting with EDGE and getting 6 more baskets on school grounds there. Great guy, and a good person to be supporting the sport. So, help a new golfer out, if you find his disc please give him a call.
