im new to the sport, and loving it
in the middle of june i will be moving back to rochester, and i was looking around, and, apparantly lots of people in the area are into disc golf
anyway
as i said, i am new, dont know much specifics about the game, i mostly just play to have fun
if anyone can give any recomendations as to local courses or anything, that would be great.
i look forward to playing in new york this summer.

Rochester was the site of the 99 PDGA worlds, and it still has two out of the four courses used during worlds. There was another good course added the year after.

Go to www.discgolfrochester.com (http://www.discgolfrochester.com) where you will find detailed descriptions of all 4 rochester area courses along with directions, tournament schedules, league info, and more.

After you get here I suggest going to the Ellison Park league on Thursday nights and talking with the players there, who can probably tell you whatever you want to know about DG in Rochester.
