<font color="blue">GLEN WINS YET ANOTHER TOUR STOP! CAN ANYONE STOP THIS MAN??? </font>
<font color="green">Sherwood Finishes Second. Misses Eight Foot Putt! </font>
Four of us played an early round at Patapsco this morning from the blues. Scores were:
Glen-60
Shark-62
Paul-63
Hawk-71
We started on #1 and Paul got worried early as my long approach kicked off a tree and landed 10 feet from the basket for a three. Things went down hill for me from there. Glen started with a four on #1 and then took a six on #2  Glen may have been unnerved by a lumbering figure approaching us from the ballfield as we played #2. First guess was Bigfoot, but it turned out to be Tom Paxton, who ignored us and went about his business. An interesting awkward moment. :) Glen did deuce #8. Shark won the front shooting a 29 with Glen one back, Paul four back, and me last shooting a smoking 39! :oFive fives will do that to you. I accomplished the rare back to back circle holes by getting caught in the tree on #3, and then landing perfectly in the center of the road on #4. The new Pro Aviar is nice, and the Gator sucks! :o
The back nine was a little more competitive after I retired the midranges, and the wind picked up. Shark hit a bit of a rough patch on the back nine with a five on #11 and then fouring #'s 13, 14, 15 & 17. Glen was consistent putting together a bunch of threes, and deucing #12 after taking a five on #11. He also went into the valley on #17 taking a five. Paul missed the mando on #13 but managed a four. The back nine saw Paul and Glen tied with 30's, me with a 32, and The Professor with a 33. Shark also explained what Rich's avatar is, and also what a nassau is. Always a learning experience! :)
As we were leaving the park, Paul stopped me, and told me his, "check engine light had just come on." Hmmmmmmmmmm... Perhaps another no show for Mr. Druid at 3:45. He has all my numbers though, so we'll get him to Sherando one way or another, even if it's tied up on the hood of Rich's carryall.
Nice right up Hawk. I'd give my blow by blow of what or who went down yesterday but the sleep depervation is kicking my tail. I will say that my face resembles a ripe tomato having spent ALL day on the course(s). Two rounds @ druid, where i shined logging dueces on 4,1 and 3 :D:D :D(after a practice round hans SOLO). Then it was off to the "Mill Stream" for nurishment/ Adult Entertainment. Might i add that i haven't had wings that good, well they where 3 thumbs up :oSo then BB and i decided to get a round in @ the Rock, where i unserimoniously beat "the man" on his own course  :D:p /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif by several strokes...No details to follow.

Am tour action after a work day at patapsco this saturday? we really could use your truck to gather sticks and/or move crush hawk!
Dick
Mar 22 2004, 02:44 PM
Here is the OK i got from the Park Manager:
>Richard,
This Saturday (27th) is the opening day of Tout Season, therefore the park will be crawling (or swimming) with fisherman and my staff will be unable to assist your work party. I will be here to meet you and complete the required forms. I plan to stay with your group as long as I can. As far as vehicles go we have a new gator and a 4x4 pick up truck that can be used off road. Chain saws are fine to use on down trees only (no standing trees can be cut). I will try to have our staff cut up the tree on #17 prior to Saturday. Additionally in my meeting with Lindsay I discussed the need of volunteers throughout the area not just the disk golf course. There are many limbs and trees down and we would appreciate the help in clearing them. Lets plan on meeting at the Ranger Office at 9 AM on Sat.
Thanks,
Jerry
Everyone who can help meet at 9am at the front gate to sign in. Latecomers, track us down on the course or call my cell(202-641-6703) Lunch will be on me!

Mar 23 2004, 10:42 AM
Rich,
That's not going to be happening for me. As I told you this past weekend, no workdays for me the weekend before a tourney. I learned my lesson at Rockburn about effort vs. recovery time etc. Also I'm not interested in cleaning up the whole park as Ranger Jerry is looking to rope us into.
md21954
Mar 23 2004, 10:50 AM
sorry. i can't make it either. won't be playing saturday at all probably  i'm replacing the ceiling in my upstairs bathroom because of a roof leak (roof recently repaired).

and hawk, you mongoloid, there are two weeks until the patapsco tourney. oh... i forgot you're playing bluemont and you're old.
Dick
Mar 23 2004, 11:57 AM
we're not 'clearing the whole park' this weekend, but i am going to work with him myself to help out clearing some other down trees. i think the goodwill alone is worth it, plus he is going to let us us his equipment, so eventually i might be able to work my way into enough trust to use their mower. who knows. also i have a friend who likes to stock up on wood, so i'll probably take him as long as we can remove as much as he wants to take home for splitting.
hawkgammon
Mar 23 2004, 12:42 PM
I know this is hindsight, but we should have worked on tuning Patapsco up the weekend we did Rockburn. There obviously is a tourney coming up at Patapsco, while Rockburn is a recreational situation until your party in the fall. Due to the lack of participation these efforts normally garner, starting early is clearly better than waiting for the traditional weekend before.
Dick
Mar 23 2004, 02:36 PM
yeah, i know. but this isn't actually the 'weekend before' , it's 2 weeks before! ;)
and it shouldn't be too hard or long of a work day. mostly frshen the tee pads, clear sticks and stuff from the fairways into the gator, and haul that tree out of 17. i expect we'll have plenty of time for a round after. then we can work on it a day or two in the time before the picnic.
on another note, Jim is interested in trying out Paul's flypad tee idea, and he is going to see reese this week when he's down there and ask if we could get one to try out and see how it works. if it works well, i would guess we could convert all the pads into much lower maintenance flypads on crush boxes. Paul if you can get any more info or tips on how they were made, it would be a big help.

Mar 23 2004, 02:43 PM
While it is two weeks before the Open, as the Mexican wrestling sensation pointed out, I am playing in VA the following weekend. I know how dead Matt and I were after dealing with 15 of the Rocks tees, and Patapsco has 36. I've done the Patapsco tees before, so I know the toll that will take.

It's a good thing that Bluemont is limited to a field of 45 which should leave many other willing and able bodies to come help out at Patapsco :).

http://www.fly18.com/pads.htm
i've seen the same type pad w/ 'innova' marked on it, so maybe jim would have an in w/ them.
the ones at castle hayne had a frame built out of 4x4s stacked on top of each other 2 deep. the frame had about 1' extra on the long ends and 6'' on the sides so there was excess space past and before the rubber pads. the frame was then filled with crushed stone. i imagine larger stone was on the bottom for drainage and smaller stone was on the top to smooth it out. the 'flypad' placed on top, a very flat surface.
these are the best non-permanent pads i've ever played on (even better than some concrete pads i've played). i've played on these in terrential down pours and they were still tacky as can be. best of all, they are easily moved compared to concrete and, if installed properly, are certainly not an eyesore.

so working the week before a tournament is why you lost to paul? you sure it wasn't because you sucked? /msgboard/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
i know, that's your story and you're sticking to it...IF Tom and I are the only ones there than that's the way it goes. won't be the first time. Hopefully some of the guys who like patapsco will be able to find some time along the way to contribute before the picnic in july. even if it is only to clean up sticks on one hole while playing a round....
Jim hasn't floated it with the park, but i think we are going to ask them if we can build a sample tee to show them. jim is going to ask the guy this week about if we can get a test flypad.

Mar 24 2004, 07:17 AM
No we worked at Rockburn two weeks ago. But I know how cramped my hands were after tamping 18 teepads, and how stiff my back was after shoveling three trucks loads of crush that it took about a week to get right again, and I'm not going to VA with that narrow a recovery window. If you guys want help, then you need to organize these things in conjunction with those that are likely to show up, instead of just throwing dates out there. This reminds me of another group that makes inconvenient unilateral decisions. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
md21954
Mar 24 2004, 09:11 AM
i'll try to get out there sunday, or even next weekend. maybe you guys can leave something that doesn't require any equipment (like moving the fallen limbs on 8) when you're done. there are a lot of conflicting events this weekend and i'm sure i can talk at least 1 or 2 folks into helping out later on.
hawk... i don't think work at paultapsco is going to be as intense as at the rock. if you show up, limit yourself to light stuff. you could use the course karma :D

Can I get a little help? You people please be nice to Lindsay on 4/3 and help her out. The last thing I want to do is deal with her later that night if she is bitchy.
Chris Hysell
Mar 24 2004, 10:50 AM
But, if you guys do everything she asks, will she expect the same from me? Either way, I'm in big trouble.
md21954
Mar 24 2004, 11:21 AM
helping lindsay out doesn't necessarily mean being nice to her. at least we know she won't be paired w/ hawk during doubles, that might have sent her over the top /msgboard/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
I'm sorry, as a die hard Marylander...I'm going to Virginia to play and I'm NOT helping girlie. she helps herself just fine.

Oh Hawk!
If I was trying to protect my rating, I would have DNF'd that second round at Sherando. :D
But I do seem to remember shooting a 74 the first round compared to your 72. And as it is my cross to bear (the ever improving player with a lagging rating /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif) after the first round you declared that you would no longer apply the handicap formula for our $1 bets... which brought me fondly back to that beautiful day at the very end of February in Gaithersburg, MD when I was also denied :o...

I belive i wasn't mad about not being taken up on my offer,i do believe in sarcasm though.
Anywayz, trouble with it all is that i won't be able to get an approval from the boss(which wouldn't ever be a problem anyway),becouse he is on vacation and it's in his garage.I will ask him first thing when he gets back for future use and would be willing to do this(with some help of course)sometime before the Open.
It's actually called a compactor and will make the blue dust or crush like cement pads for a little while.Considering there is no support on the sides to hold it in place it won't last forever, but better than a hand tamper ten fold!

<font color="purple">FELTY WINS ROCKBURN TOUR STOP WITH 57 </font>
<font color="green">Service Second, Boyd Avoids Humiliation </font>
Four of us played a leisurely round at The Rock this afternoon. Final results were:
Matt-57
Greg-60
Bill-62
Hawk-65
It was double deuces day with Matt twoing #'s 5 & 13, Greg getting his on #'s 3 and 6, Bill going back to back on #'s 16 & 17, and me getting holes 3 and 16.
Matt started slow taking a five on hole one.
The same hole saw Greg throwing a spectacular second shot with a Roc from the right briar patch to park for his par. Greg continues to drive primarily sidearm.
Bill's flirtation with infamy began on seven were he began a string of 4-5-circle 4-4-4-4-4-4.
After nine scores were: Greg 28, Matt 29, Hawk 30, Bill 32  At this point Bill declared that he wasn't going to lose to me. We both foured ten, then I took the dreaded circle six on #11 when I got up in a tree. Bill followed his string o'fours by bookending his pair of deuces with a couple of threes. Meanwhile Matt hit the accelerator with five consecutive three's to end his round. Greg took a tough five on #10 when his drive hit the tree at the bottom of the hill and kicked right into the jungle. He lost ground to Matt on #'s 11, 13 & 14.
Back nine scores were: Matt 28, Bill 30, Greg 32, and Hawk 35 :( .
Tomorrow the tour reconvenes at high noon at the newly spruced up Patapsco to see what the grumpy old men accomplished today. :)

<font color="blue">FELTY WINS AGAIN </font>
<font color="orange">Sherwood Edges Service For Second :)</font>
<font color="purple">Boyd's Freefall Continues  </font>
Eight players made a staggered start from the blue tees at today's Tour stop at the newly shuffled and lengthened Patapsco. Final scores were:
Matt-65
Mark-68
Greg-69
TPax-70
Hawk-73
Smokin' Joe-73
John W.-75
Bill-82*
In a round that saw only two deuces (Sherwood on #8 and Felty on #12) among eight players; Matt charged to the win with a strong 29 on the back nine. Mark won the front nine with a 33.
Mark and Tom were impressive on #7 shooting fours on the long pin position. Mark's score is also impressive considering he took circle five on #1 and circle 4 on #13. Greg and I took circle five and six respectively on #9 as we missed the mando. Tom circle fived on #1.
Joe actually had the most three's of the round with eight, but his start of 4-6-7 was a little too much to overcome.
*Bill missed the first three holes due to computer difficulties. Apparently he's been on some of those websites again, and his computer has locked up in moral indignation. Rich is on the case. The group decision, a group made up of two other Rockburn Crew members, was for Bill to eat a seven for each of the first three holes. We allowed Bill to play the first three holes at the end alone, and his modified score would have been yet another 73! He added a circle five on number one.
While waiting for the second group to finish, and while Bill was playing with himself /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif on holes 1-3, Greg, Matt and I believe we spotted Ski and some Zoo Crew members playing on hole #4, but it was difficult to positively identify anyone through the cigarette smoke engulfing the group.
The clean-up on #17 is very impressive, and our group contributed to the effort by rearranging downed limbs and branches on various holes, but most noticeably on #13 and the long pin area on #17.
Total time helping our sport:
Greg-9:13 minutes
Bill-7:48 minutes
Matt-6:59 minutes
Hawk-5:34 minutes
Next Tour Stop is Bluemont on Saturday as the Virginia Invasion continues for Rich and I, and a final Paptapsco Open tune-up on Sunday the 4th at the usual high noon. Ski says he is free of weekend work now, so come out Sunday and see what latest fashion statement he makes on the course.

While waiting for the second group to finish, and while Bill was playing with himself /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif on holes 1-3, Greg, Matt and I believe we spotted Ski and some Zoo Crew members playing on hole #4, but it was difficult to positively identify anyone through the cigarette smoke engulfing the group.
no smoke at all coming from our group hawk. you must have seen someone else. none of us smoke cigarettes (anymore) and dean was with his son, so no smoke coming from our group. it was ski, me, jesse, dean and his son justin who no doubt will be kicking all of our asses if he shows at the pro/am. the kid is a natural.
can we trust anything you write here after such a blatant misrepresentation of the facts?
He was talking about the smoke from Greg and I.

I'm going to order 20-25 dx discs to give away to rec and family players that call in to support disc golf at patapsco and rockburn. i'm thinking 150 white sharks with the md disc golf logo on them. anyone have any other suggestions as a better newbie disc? maybe panthers or stingrays?

i think you are dead on w/ the 150g sharks. maybe get some that are heavier to have on hand in case someone knows they like higher weights. there is not a better multi-purpose/newbie disc on the market. when i take shannon on the course, i give her a 150g shark, tell her to use it for every shot, and watch the s-turns fly!
if i had to tackle a course w/ one disc, that'd be it (champion plastic and heavy of course).

toour stop at the hill yesterday afternoon. deebo and glen smoked the group, while mark c, jim b and myself battled for the remaining tags. jim b shot a 56, i shot a miserable 57 and mark shot an even more miserable 59. i took mark's tag but we swapped it back after playing the super nine. deebo won w/ a +3 (or 2?), followed by jim w/ a +5, mark w/ a +7 and me w/ a +11. my highlight of the day was getting a 3 on the last of the super nine (12's tee to 10's basket).

<font color="blue">TOUR INVADES BLUEMONT</font>
<font color="red">Master Plan Goes Slightly Awry </font>
Rich and I arrived seperately this morning with the idea of him winning Advance, and me winning Intermediate. Ohhhh so close. Well for me that is. I lost by one to the diabolical Matt Butcher. This is twice now down in NoVa that we've been in the final group, and he's beaten me. This time by one stroke. :mad:On the plus side I defeated young Bobby Vigil by a stroke to hold second. :D
Now Rich had a tad bit of trouble in the second round shooting a 42 on the back nine which included a triple circle seven, and I believe another circle seven. He can better detail his own personal misery than I. This would include losing to me by five strokes overall.
Conditions were...mucky. The course is very short the first time round the nine holes, and gradually lengthens out each subsequent nine. It gets very difficult, and we didn't play the most brutal set-up. On hole #4 they positioned the basket on the edge of a creek with flags all around it for out of bounds. Brave men cried here.
Matt Raines failed to post.
I nearly failed to post as one of my truck's tires is leaking, but I persevered.
Prior to the Pro Final Four playing, Tim had a throw off CTP for four unclaimed CTP's. Hysell put his throw in the basket. :D
In addition I have a bag of plastic for Kelly who craves Bluemont recognition. This includes a glo Shark, a fly-dye Whippet, an Eagle, something I cant remember, and an unlabeled mystery disc. Go ahead and throw it...I dare you.
Will try and make the high noon Tour stop at Patapsco tomorrow to practice for the Open, but I've got to get the tire resolved.

yes, i wasn't playing great, with just a 50 in the short config, and i managed a 28 in the long from the short tees, but the middle tees immediately gave me trouble with a circle 5 on 8(in the path on the approach almost hitting a toddler on a small bike. luckily he had a helmet so the parent wasn't too flustered) then i immediately followed it up with an honest 5 on 9. i pulled the ship back together for a couple holes until it fell completely apart on the 4th hole(i was the grown man crying!). my turnover drive hit a tree and straightened right into the creek. i dropped and tried the risky approach to save 5(lay up to the log, dummy!) and dropped it back in the drink. then i tried to lay it onto the little green and it hit the tree and rolled right back in. triple circle 7. next hole i slam a tree 100feet up and it sails backwards and left right over the next tee(and past the laughing women trying to avoid my discs) and right back into the drink. after flailing the rest of the way up i take another 7, this time with only 1 circle. next hole (6) i kiss another tree fly over the creek(near the still laughing women) and land right on the cpaved path and am ob once again.. i throw back up near the hole and manage a circle 5). luckily there was only one more hole for me and i take a 3 and leave with a 42 for 9 holes, my tail between my legs and hawks laughter ringing in my ears. ouch. what the heck do you do when things break down so bad? i'm still not even sure what the heck happened! probably the worst 9 holes i've played in a looong time. i guess you just have to forget it and move on.maybe play a little safer near those creeks next time.

<font color="green">GLEN WINS FINAL PATAPSCO OPEN TUNE-UP TOUR STOP</font>
<font color="orange">Jim B. Battles Wind and Hawk to Take Second </font>
Four of us enjoyed a refreshing round from the reds today in the breezy conditions :).
Final scores were:
Glen-64
Jim B.-66
Hawk-68
Paul-74
Everyone's rust with the reds due to the macho mentality of always playing the blues coupled with the wind contributed to a less than stellar outing for the group.
We started from #10, and Glen deuced it! :cool:That was the highlight of the round. The back/front nine saw no real disasters, but a lot of good drives wasted, or bad drives followed up by decent approaches. Paul hit a real rough patch starting on hole 13 where he went 5-4-5-4-5-4. Scores at the turn were: Glen 30, Jim & Hawk 33, and Paul with a 37.
The front/back nine started off strong /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif as only Jim cleared the screen of trees across the street. Paul and Glen hit and landed among the trees, and I took a fantastic kick to the left ending up safely back across the street for a 10 foot net distance gain off the tee. Things gradually got uglier from there. Paul took a circle six on #5 when his putt sailed over the basket and into the road. On the brutal hole 7 we managed the bogey chain with Jim taking a 4 :D, Paul a 5 :), Glen a 6 :(, and Hawk with a 7 . That's a nasty hole.
Scores from the second nine were: Jim-33. Glen-34, Hawk-35, and Paul-37.

two rounds (red, blue) then about 5 or 6 mega-paultapsco safari.
first round from the blue started with about 3 players on the front, 4 on the back for tags. non-taggers eventually turned the 4-some into a 7-some herd including DD and a few others. very windy, most unimpressive scores but, alas, i captured the shark's tag. i shot a 72, shark and ski shot 74s. i am very confident, wind or no wind, that i can cut at least 4-5 strokes off that 72 simply by removing my head from my [*****].
second round was glen, myers, and myself (3, 5 and 15 tags respectively) from the reds. glen shot a smokin' 53 to defend his tag from the paultapsco pro myers who shot a 55. i shot a miserable 69, but again... i am very confident, wind or no wind, that i can cut at least 2-3 strokes off that 69 simply by removing my head from my [*****]. at least i shot better from the reds than the blues this time :D
i did learn a valuable lesson. i was beat after all that! i might do one round at paultapsco on friday and maybe a casual round at druid to tune up. shark's advice on this bored wasn't enough, but the course pro reinforced it and i am on my way to playing smarter golf.

<font color="red">GLEN WINS ONE DISC CHALLENGE</font>
Three of us braved the gloomy skys and sprinkles to finally try this out at Druid Hill today. We played from the metal tees. Scores were:
Glen-56 (KC Roc)
Paul-60 (Champion Viking)
Hawk-68 (Champion Spider)
Paul looked like he was going to prove Rich's theory about the advantages of using a driver in this kind of thing early on by deucing #1. He didn't seem bothered putting with the Viking, and approaching with flick shots. It was going so well on the front nine for Paul, he vowed to play his next Druid tourney with just one disc and wearing his Mexican wrestling mask if he came in under par. Glen and I started to think we were actually going to get to see that! :cool:By hole 4 Glen was convinced Paul had made the correct disc choice. #6 was when things got challenging for all of us with three off the mark drives. Glen did park #7 for a deuce. Scores on the front nine were: Paul 27, Glen 28, Hawk 31.
I quickly took fives on #'s 10, 11 & 12 to remove myself from contention. Glen and Paul were only one stroke apart until #15 when Paul's drive hit the screen to the left of the tee, and then his second shot put him in the cluster of trees to the right. He ended up taking a five to Glen's three, and on #16 he took a 4 while Glen recorded his second deuce of the day.
We all agreed that it was refreshing and fun to just walk and throw a disc without dealing with the bags and disc selection decisions that go on in normal rounds. It was reminiscent for each of us when we began playing.
Also Druid is looking really good right now with all of the trees blossoming. The back nine has to be the prettiest stretch of holes in the state. The work to resurrect the ponds is proceeding, and also there are about 15 trees on the course waiting to be planted. I hit two of them. One during our round, and another in a solo round prior to our experiment when I shot a 56 using my whole bag, which Glen matched using one disc. :(
Coming soon will be the putter only challenge!

i think they mentioned a workday at seneca sunday, just light clearing of sticks or something for an hour or so. after that maybe we could play the doubles thing they usually do. sat putter round could work, why not rockburn? talk about learning the value of a safe shot!

<font color="red">"MITCH" FELTY WINS ROCKBURN PUTTER SHOOT OUT :) </font>
<font color="purple">Dr. Evil Nips Shark For Second </font>
Eight of us ditched the bags and battled at Rockburn today.
Results were:
Matt-59 (JK Aviar-x)
Rich-60 (JK Aviar-x)
Mark-61 (CE Aviar)
Bill-65 (APX Swirl)
Hawk-68 (DX Aviar Putter)
Greg-72 (APX Swirl*)
Tom-74 (Tank)
Will-75 (Glo Aviar Putter)
*The other group failed to record the discs used on their card :( so I am going off memory of what Greg usually putts with.
Matt actually carded three deuces on holes 3, 9 & 16. Rich deuced #3, as did Bill. There were a suprising number of circles on the cards considering the use of putters. Rich was above two meters twice on our first three holes (numbers 10 and 12), and Greg also carded a circle 4 on #6 and a circle 5 on #12. Rich and Tom both drove across the creek on #15! :cool:We were all suprised at the distance we were getting with the putters. Often matching what we normally get with drivers.
Prior to the round there was a lot of discussion about hard vs. soft between Rich and Matt. Once overheard they quickly asserted that this was putter related. ;)
Tom was at a disadvantage as he was sidearming his putter, and it's lack of overstability was killing him.
Next Tour stop is Seneca tomorrow at high noon. It's a full bag event. :)

<font color="blue">TOUR REGULARS SLAPPED AROUND SENECA BY MUSCULAR SHIRTLESS MAN </font>
<font color="yellow">Mansir Ducks Shoot Out With Hawk </font>
Cleverly arriving late today to avoid work, the Tour rolled into Seneca State Park in preparation for next weekends Soiree. In true DG fashion, the event was disorganized, and late starting. Some of the proletariat wanted to play the short tees, some the longs, and some sought safety in doubles. Leading the push for the long tees, three other brave souls joined me. Final results were:
Tommy-59
Rich-65
Hawk-68
Ski-69 (naturally)
Tommy of the Hands On Aviar putter deuced #'s 4, 5 & 18. Ski got the only other deuce on #10. Tommy and I both carded sixes on #'s 10 and one respectively. Rich continued his love affair with circles carding above two meters twice, and one OB on #11. I joined Rich OB on 11 and also put a putter in a tree on #14. No one escaped uncircled. :D
Our group had an interesting look to it, as Tommy worked on his tan, Rich wore his Colonel Sanders hat, and Ski sported the pot hole repair crew member look. Safety orange could be the hot new look for this season.
Ski's round started slowly, but after fending off his hat after it attacked him viciously on the back nine, he cruised in with a series of fours.
Curiously most of the Seneca regulars seem to be sporting some kind of goth look as T2 displayed his very white torso. Shrieks of horror were heard from nearby children. That man could play glow without any plastic.

<font color="green">BRADY COMES FROM BEHIND TO TIE SHARK AT SENECA </font>
<font color="purple">Round Marred By Faulty Foot Placement </font>
Feeling young in this group today, three of us played the long tees at Seneca. None of us can remember which color is long, but they were the longs. Scores were:
Brady-67
Mark-67
Hawk-72
This is the section where normally I detail who deuced what holes.
You get the idea. Mark had a three stoke lead at the turn shooting a 33 with Brady and I carding 36's. Brady began a silent sneaky comeback on #11 where he carded a three while Shark and I went out of bounds. I won that battle slightly be going OB 40' further down the fairway. Shockingly these were the only circles of the day, and we actually completed a round without anyone being over two meters  Brady avoided rejoining the five club on the back nine shooting nothing but 3's and 4's to close out with 31, Mark had a 34, and I had another 36.
The round was so mediocre that the early highlight was Brady and I warning Shark about missing his mini by a foot to the right on #9. Shark attempted to return the favor when I put my foot on my mini later in the round. Moral victory to me as I was still at least in line.
Mark was somewhat awed by a couple of my drives, and might be rethinking his backing of Paul in the ratings war. Rich we might have a convert! :D
Solo Stag round @ THE ROCK: 28/28, with dueces on holes 4,9 and 18(short). All and all a pretty sweet round :DI'll be leaving with the $$$ on Sunday
