New Course in Mokena, IL

Hi everyone, just another update on the Mokena, IL course. Saturday all 27 of the baskets went in so we are almost open. We are just waiting on the signage to be completed and then the course will be open to the public! <font color="blue"> </font>

I got to play this course on Friday minus the two missing holes. It is pretty sweet. Definitely the best thing going in the greater Chicago (llinois) area. I'd say it's Rum Village's trees (past tense), with Sinnissippi's length, land and "cuteness." There are some sweet signature holes of which I'll put up some jpegs when I have more time. Framed rubber tee-pads on every hole and for EVERY placement. If visiting or checking it out, make sure to go during a high-traffic time. There has to be locals around to tell you where the next hole is or you'll NEVER find it. Definitely a cool course and excellent for a tournament setting. The first one should be a blast. Excellent job by all involved. ;)

On the course directory page there are directions, but no course map. I hope if they had one, it would be changing. It seems like there's a lot of work left to do, what with the temp parking and all. Maybe changing the hole numbers and flow is in the works as well. :p

Sorry the course is so confusing. We are still waiting on the signage. We wanted to open the course to the public though because so many people were calling about it. It has to be very confusing because there is no course layout, no parking lot, and no individual signs for each hole. I promise it is coming!!! ;)
