View Full Version : Disc Golf Tour of Texas!!!

Nov 17 2003, 05:49 PM
Some friends and I are planning a disc golf tour of Texas. What are some of the best courses in Texas that we have to play? Perhaps even Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico courses could make the list. Has anyone else done anything like this before? Any suggestions on an itinerary? We live in Dallas. If anyone wants to play when we roll thru town, give me an email address and we'll get together!

Thanks,

Ken

Tom Bass in Houston. 2 coarses also.

The only Houston courses that are a must are the Powell and Wilmont courses at Tom Bass, and Jim Mazola on the Buffalo Bayou.

Jack Brooks, MacGregor and Moffitt are very nice recreational courses and a lot of fun, but just not must-plays like the previously mentioned Houston courses.

the courses aren't really the alluring part its the hospitality of the locals that makes it all worth while...

If you decide to play Duncan Lake let me know and I will meet you in Duncan (OK) and either you can ride with me or you can follow me out there and I will give you the tour while playing it of course.
