Jaime played Advanced at Pease in Austin today, he won. The flyer for the Challenge is up on the board. We hope to send a few over...

Jun 14 2003, 08:10 PM
Sweet! Jamie has really got his mind on his game right now. I'm looking for him to play well in KC. Thanks for the good report. Ya'll come to S'Port.

Jun 16 2003, 08:46 AM
Thought I would drop a quick comment. This is a GREAT tournament. Have been to several tournaments in Shreveport and they never fail to deliver. From the people, to the prizes, to the food, this is a top notch tournament run by professionals.

Little Rock, Ark

Jun 17 2003, 10:48 PM
Thanks Aaron. I'm looking forward to the food also. I don't know who will do it yet. That same little Cajun Cook Trailer sounds good to me.

Jun 18 2003, 01:48 AM
What's up!! Still out here in Austin. hope to be home Sunday or Monday. Thanks for the good word Aaron. Hope to see everyone in Shreveport the 12th and 13th. There are usually a few people who let some guys stay at their houses. Either give Kevin(318-219-0440) or me(318-221-2929) for some #'s. Peace

You got game, Jamie. Good luck in Shreveport.

sincerely, the guy who sucked really, really bad Saturday morning at Pease...martin

ps. email me your info. I would like to be able to get some golf in with you if I am ever in the area. I have considered going up there a few times to see about playing the private Boy Scout Course but heard you gotta give blood or something to play /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif

Jun 18 2003, 06:14 PM
Saturday; Two sets of tees. Very cool layout. Like two different courses.
Sunday; Nine extra holes. Plenty of room.

Jun 20 2003, 10:00 AM
We will be using the West Nine extra holes (behind the VA Hospital, not directly beside river).
The same caterer will be here again. It is a festival like cook trailer. They have a good selection of sandwiches, sausage, meat pies, nachos, etc., made to order. Good prices too.

Jun 21 2003, 06:01 PM

I wish I could make it. This is one of my favorite events. River boats and disc golf, what else could you ask for?

Unfortunately, this year it is up against the Dallas Z-Tx10 stop. Sorry S'port City, I'll be there next year barring event conflicts.

Jul 01 2003, 08:55 PM
Sorry you can't make it. I guess we'll have to check around a little better next year. We are going to have another B-tier in October. Hopoe you can make that one.

Jul 01 2003, 10:34 PM
This tourn. is a double qualifier (PDGA AND Southern Nationals). The Southern Nationals Championships is a USDGC qualifier. Hope to see everyone here

Really would like to come to this Tourney.Havent been to Shreveport since I started playin DG.Was thinkin about ZT10 Dallas, Riverside Tulsa, now the choice got a little tougher.Usually a good turn-out?

Jul 02 2003, 03:01 PM
Our turnout has grown every year. I'm not exactly sure on the numbers last year, but I think it was somewhere around 100. I have talked to quite a few people who've never been and plan on coming. We always have a very good payout. If you talk to anyone who's played, they will tell you. Hope to see you here.

Jul 02 2003, 03:03 PM
a new change for people who have played before. As of right now, whiich looks to be correct, there will be rope OB on 3 or 4 holes. It will definitely add a little challenge.

Jul 03 2003, 08:29 AM
Jamie, Thanks for helping out on this thread. Hope we can play tomorrow. I will try to trim trees at Ford (5 & 11) today or tomorrow.
Casey, This is a Great Tourney.
John, We will miss you. Maybe you can come to State's.

Thanks, Mick!

Jul 06 2003, 10:55 PM
Talked to Grand Master CZ today. He is planning to have 25 bags of Beef Jerky for sale. Some of you know how good this stuff is. He will also donate several 1/2 gallon jars of Jerky for CTP's. I won one of these at the Halloween Havoc and one at this years Ice Bowl. What a treat! CZ is also Sponsoring his two best customers with thier entry fee this year. CZ is a huge supporter of Disc Golf. Thanks CZ...

Ford Park is being mowed right now. Clyde Fant was mowed a couple days ago. Clyde Fant Baskets are in Tourney Position as of last night.

Jul 11 2003, 02:13 PM
Before you ask; I will probably not be able to post scores after Tourney. Sorry, I will not have that info.

Jul 12 2003, 08:11 AM
I just want to know how my Bratzo - Nick Repar from Lafayette is doing? He had surgery on both shoulders and not sure at this time if he is going to make Worlds... I am praying for him....

Tom Cat

Jul 12 2003, 09:31 PM
Tom, I spoke with Nick today. I think he is playing well. I will check him out tomorrow. Keep Praying. "Surely something happens when you pray, that doesn't happen when you don't".

Jul 13 2003, 04:58 PM
Tom, I was so busy today, all I did was check Nick's scorecard. I don't think he cashed.

Jul 13 2003, 05:04 PM

Mick,

Thanks for the update. He did shoot me an email when he got home that his shoulders are not yet healed from surgery but the old goat is still going to meet me at Worlds in KC... what a trooper...

Hope you shot well!

Tom Cat

Jul 13 2003, 08:05 PM
Tom Cat, Nick finished third but didn't cash because it was a small Adv. Master field. He said he will be at Worlds.

Jul 13 2003, 09:37 PM
Susan, Thanks for Am update, I'm sorry I posted that wrong. Do I remember right that Chris Farnam finished 3rd in Open?

Jul 13 2003, 10:11 PM
No Prob Mick. Dave's my hubby and I had to show the support. Yes, I think David said Chris finished 3rd in Open. Pretty good, Christopher! David said that it was a great tournament. I wish I had been able to make it! Maybe next year.
