View Full Version : Flying Freeman Open
Is this tournament still on for this weekend?
When does it start, entry fees, etc?
I can say that it is still on. I am not sure of any of the other details. You could try calling or emailing the TD, that usually works /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif. He is really a nice guy.

Oh, and by the way, if you have never played the Freeman Lake course, it is a hidden treasure. Good length and plenty of trees and water. The lake is apparently up which places several of the pins within 20 to 30 feet of the lake.
From the flyer I have:
June 7-8th

2 days - 4 rounds - 72 holes - 1st 72 players only!
Register 7:30-8:30
Players meeting at 9 - tee off at 9:30 AM
Sunday players meeting TBA
From I-65 - go west on US 62 to Ring Road (3005) and turn right. Stay on ring road to 31W just past Lowes/Walmart, turn left onto 31W, go thru traffic light, turn left into Freeman lake Park
Course has alternate pin placements, so I do believe we will be playing 2 rounds on the long and 2 on the short layouts.
Freeman Lake is sweet. Nicely cut, with water hazards.

I think they have a tourney tshirt for the players also.
Also some sort of Elite Discraft disc for the Ams at least. I believe I heard XS, Wasp, XL and the like during a conversation with the TD last evening. Last year was a pretty decent players package for all.
Pickle J - if you and Pickle D are coming, you can crash at my place.

Bink,
Already made arrangements with Johnny to stay at his house. I am sure that he will probably put us to work putting prizes together or something, but a much shorter drive in the AM. Thanks though.
