Hey ben, WHEN the tags are available it is going to be a randon draw for your number. We also talked about a wends. night bag tag challenge for now, instead of leagues.

Ben...Brad suffers from what is called the Stewart complex. He feels the need to bring others down in order to build himself up. Don't get all worked up, it's fairly common at Hoover.
I understand josh, btw Brad is too cool for the tag challenge, He seems to be above it. You know, it's not worth his time.......The superpro complex.
Paul that sounds cool, I was just wondering how they were going to get dispersed...Will this random draw happen this weekend at the monthly? Is the tag challenge only at hoover or can people make me go to griggs where I have only played about 5 times?
This tag stuff seems pretty fun to me, how else will ams challenge pros without betting money. I think it will be fun to have people better or less skilled try to take your tag. It should make everyone better. Plus you will play against people you don't normally play with. It won't be the same group (kev, brad, paul, me ect.....) You are not really playing against the person, you are playing the course, if you score better than the other person then you get rewarded and people will know. I can't wait for Stewart to get challenged by some ams and lose!

If you all are planning on going to the Ashtabula tourney in a few weeks, you may want to send your money in now because they are only taking 72 and they will most likely fill they said. Last year they had 54 or so and they said they have entries already for people that have never been there. See how nice I am, I would not want any of my local Pals to miss out. Entry 5/17/03- today i was -2 going into my last hole(hole-1),trying to make birdie from the trees my putt hit the rim and rolled 40ft,from there I 3 putted for the hell of it. A birdie would of won me the tournament, par would of tied me for the tournament,boggie would of got me second place,and staying around to find out that i was tied for second might of got me some cash, but I was in a hurry to get home and write this. I Love you diary!

As for the money, good job Dennis, sorry I left but I was way too frustrated to stay. I knew it would be close if I had made that putt, but I didn't and I went home. At that point I didn't care about money; I wanted a win for my confidence. I wasn't playing for the money.

#15 is on the side of that small incline, between two pines. That was the very first basket the parks installed, and as I watched, 1/2 bag of quik-crete, no mixing with a dash of water.
Honestly, I'm not surprised, but they didn't want another supervisor on the job that day.
I was all goos bumps seeing them out there anyway.

We strive to have divisions available that the PDGA designates as viable divisions. Often times, people are eligible for various divisions and must choose one. Often times, not enough players select certain divisions, ie <19 Juniors.
If you would like to play in one or more of these divisions it would behoove you to encourage more participation from your classmates, neighbors and other age/skill level players to create said division in a particular competition.
Our numbers are running around 40-50 competitors in monthly mini's, and we have no concerns until we reach 72 players. That would be a pleasant issue to deal with, too! We could demand more courses to handle our communities needs!!! So, promote the game, encourage competition, and join the club, it pays in multiple ways.

yeah tyler gave it up the last round and shot par and the guy behind him was 5 strokes out and he got like 7th and didnt cash. I was in 5th going into the second day 4 strokes out and just shot crappy my first round on sunday and was out of it. So yeah it sucked. We played mt.airy on the way back it was good times.

Calling all C-bus locals........How about you guys who have never been, come to Paw Paw this Labor Day weekend and play one of the best courses in the world. Paul, Island, Cuson, Huff, Brandon, and the rest who have never been. Camp Ohio is always one of the best parties at the tourney and we need to keep getting bigger and bigger. I am trying to talk Janney, Busick and Turbo in to going this year as well. Everyone gets Monday off and you could drive back Sunday night and have the whole day on Monday to do whatever. If you have never been, you have no idea what your missing. Make plans now, send you money in before it fills and we can have an awesome weekend of golf. What do you all think? Paul, you up for it this year, give it a try for once and let those guys in Michigan be without you for a year. Send your money in because it will fill within the next couple of weeks.....Do it, if you don't like it Stewart will refund your money..!! /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif

I will stay up until at least 10:00 if you go, plus they have two courses this year with 18 holes instead of the 27 hole format. The rounds will not be nearly that long again, plus there are enough people there to block Stewart out. Just go this year Paul and you will never miss it again. Its a blast!
It is pretty fun, Stewart is on good behavior there usually. Just don't go near Adam or eat any of his wings, he was sick last year. Bring some food to contribute to nightly dinners. Kev is a master chef on the campground fire! Hide in the woods when you hear dueling Banjos! I will not be there because I will be on a family vacation with the in-laws. Good luck to whoever goes.
anyone ever been to, or know anything about Nat's Halloween? its a B-tier at the end of august, in bowling green.

Ellis, Nats is the end of Oct.They have two, one day events, Sat for AMs, then SAt. eve.a round of glow randon draw doubles. Sun is for PROs. Last year we played Keriokas. It was lots of fun!

I agree with Brad... Paw Paw is the BEST event of the year...well worth the drive. Golf camping and a party, what more could you want?

Ellis, I was just saying that in 20 years that this sport will be much more advanced and hopefully the money will be there. You and Brandon both have only played for a year or so and your skill level is unbelievable. Keep playing and keep getting tips from everyone who will give them. You guys have a lot of time ahead of you and you both will be on top in a couple of years!
