First Annual Alaska State Discgolf Championships

Just wanted everyone to know that we will be holding the first annual Alaska State discgolf championships this weekend in Anchorage, AK. This is the very first PDGA sanctioned event ever held in Alaska and it promises to be exciting. Check out the following website to get updated scores and also to see the courses being played. Great website Charles. That Russian Jack course looks pretty darn long. It's interesting what is considered a 'tight' fairway outside of the Northeast.

It looks like Alaska will have more DG Courses than NY pretty soon. /msgboard/images/clipart/sad.gif

Weather was incredible and we were able to play all three local courses for a total of 5 rounds plus a nine-hole final. We also had a sponsored $10,000 ace hole which was hit (though in practice).
