Does anyone know why the RADL site is down? I'm trying to get some info on the NC FDC's next weekend and the site won't open.

We are attempting to get our website back. If anyone would like to help us out, please email x@drx.net and ask him if he would be willing to let us have it back.

He has offered to sell it back to us for $5,000 but RADL doesn't have that kind of money to spend.

I don't follow your post, Kirk. I've been to the RADL website, but of course noticed that it hadn't been updated in a while.

I was very impressed by the work. I'm working on a club website, but couldn't come close to what your designer did.

I did not realize the club had lost access to the site. Why not just build a new one with a new domain?

Russ, it's the radl.com address (not the actual website) that got scavenged by some low-life.

Kirk, don't give in to him. That is his business plan. These guys sit around and purchase url's that have (sometimes inadvertently) expired in hopes that they will get one that somebody REALLY needs to get back and therefore will have to buy it back from him (for $5,000!!!). It doesn't have to work very often to be a profitable (if underhanded) way of doing business.

http://www.radl.biz works fine!

Larry is 100% right! Get your alternative name in quickly too, before the s bag gets the derivative names too.

We still have www.radl.biz (http://www.radl.biz) But we would like www.radl.com (http://www.radl.com) back .

True the site hasn't been updated recently. Our webmaster has had a series of personal disasters and has been unable to do any work for a while.

Hey Kirk,

RADL is still ahead of most! Even w/o personal disasters (except for throwing my back waaaay out) I have managed to fall behind at www.ncdiscgolf.com. (http://www.ncdiscgolf.com.) But we will get them caught up!

Thanks, Larry. The RADL site is outstanding. I wish our site could look that good, but it's a totally homegrown effort on my part. I guess it what's inside that counts, right.

The big thing with me is updating. I will rarely return to a site that's not updated on some sort of regular basis.

We had a similar problem here with the Alabama Environmental Council's site. Apparently their domain name had expired and no one was notified. The domain name ended up on a porn site. Our newspaper had their link on our site and we got a few calls on that one.

Hope the webmaster gets his disasters straighened out, RADL has a great site! T/A
