View Full Version : Flat CE Valk or substitute

I became terribly dependent on a very very flat run of CE valks, but just lost my last one. FYI, I purchased these yellow CE valks at the La Mirada pro shop in April, 2001. Local pro claimed they were virtually hot off the Rancho-Cucamonga presses at that time. They were very very flat (compared with other ce runs I've seen) and wikked almost razor sharp. I use them for overhand thumbers - and then when they get beat up I can also throw them backhand for distance. Any help in buying replacements or advice on somehing that would be a good substitue would be helpful.

Glen,
Join the crowd. I have 6 CE Valks in the bag, all various weights & worn. I have 3 more that I haven't throw yet. Once those are gone i'm not sure what i'm going to do. I've been looking for a substitute but haven't found what i'm looking for yet. I do have a new Champion Valkyrie but it's more overstable then the CE Valks i'm used to. I think once I throw it more, it will be a good disc. Good luck.

Try the Viking. Speed of the Valk with more stability than a Tbird.

Numerous people compare it to a 2nd run flat top or a faster Tbird. Plus a fraction the cost of new 2nd runs which go for $40 easily.
