The San Francisco Disc Golf Club has been working on getting a disc golf course installed in The City for 7 years now. We finally got City approval, and are raising funds to install the course. You can help us and get a collector's item disc in the process. We currently have Candy Glow Eagles, DX Rocs and DX Aviars with our Golden Gate Park Fundraiser Stamp available.

Visit our website www.discgolf.net (http://www.discgolf.net) for more information, or visit our auctions currently running on ebay (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=sfdiscg olf&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50)

See Theo, my idea to keep all the selling to one thread really worked, huh? /msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif

I was just thinking about a course in the park the other day. What a great idea, where can I find out more? Are there still discs available for purchase, specifically the rocs and avairs.

this is from a texan that was in SF recently, i went to golden gate park. what an awesome sight.. was a few lil mishaps along the way.1. no one seemed to know anything about the course. i asked everyone in the park that was willing to talk with a stranger.2. when i did find out where the course was going to be. omg it was awesome. i was on the main road and seem some ppl playing a a home made object course. i went over to offer my help and to answer any questions that they might have. they were super great ppl. i played 1 course across the bay, cvhannel, body of water. but it was a mean course. lots of wind(worse than the ROCK could ever be) and the water was kinda bad, but the guys that played golf with me were having a mini that day. were some real cool ppl. just wanted to say KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK... THE GOLDEN PARK WILL BE AN AWESOME SIGHT TO SEE WHEN DONE........ and i will return to play it ASAP..
