Hey Dave
I sent you a few emails after I received the package you sent me containing 1-h/e Speed demon, 1-normal speed demon, 1- G91 wizard, 1-Blaze, 1-sabre, and 1-demon. However I never received a clear speed demon. Thank you very much for the discs and I hope to reiterate my comments that I sent you in the lost emails.
First let me start with the Speed demon, the H/E blended one I received had a slight yellow hue and was extremely over-stable I love the disc but the plastic quickly warped and began to shred on the edges. As of now the disc doesn’t look too pretty but still flies well but is not even half as stable as it once was, even in its current state people can’t believe how over-stable it remains. The speed demon has been very reliable for me, when I use one that is somewhat new. (Maybe I’m just being Picky)
Next up the demon (or as I like to refer as the speed demons fat little brother. I love the predictability and it has worked well for when I need a short gliding hyzer shots.
The Blaze for me had very similar characteristics (as my current favorite discs the Beast). I like how it able to grab onto some over-stability as it comes out of its anhyzer. This could become a great disc for me if I needed to use it. What I did not like about it is the grip, I much prefer a bigger rim, and also I had trouble throwing effective long distance sidearms with the blaze because it could not hold the hyzer from the fast speed that the side arm snap generates.
The Apache flew like crap for me the first few times I threw it because I was trying to hard to throw it with power. Once I relaxed and tried not to force the disc to do things it wasn’t meant to do, it flew like a champ. I'm interested in knowing how the different plastics have effected its flight characteristics
Lastly the G91 Wizard, I have developed a love hate relationship with this disc. I really like the way it flies and it makes me feel real good when I finally make a putt with it, But why is it so freaking hard. Its a good driving putter for me, but the plastic does not want to stay in the basket. Whenever I hit the basket with that disc car alarms for blocks around go off as a result of the thud.
Once again thankx for the discs and I look forward to using more of your products as they continue to evolve. Keep up the good work.
