View Full Version : Best prices and selection online?

Jun 11 2003, 12:02 AM
What online retailer has the best prices and selection?

Also, is there anywhere (other than eBay) that I can get 10x discs (aviar, roc, tbird, valk, ect..)

Go to Discovering the World. You may not SEE them all, and the pictures maybe a little out of date. But, if you know what you want, just ask. If they don't have it, you're gonna have to fight it out of a collector's hands.

I hope you get what you ordered because they like to give you what they want you to have and never answer their e-mails.

Go to Disclanding! These guys know what it's about.

Try Lynx Disc Golf...they have one of the biggest, if not the biggest, selection around and Todd is an easy guy to work with.

In which of these sites can you choose weight, and color of the discs?

Jun 11 2003, 11:27 PM
That would get an online merchant a lot of business boydman. Funny none of them seem to use it as a hook. They could offer to email a person back and let them know the closest thing in stock if they didn't have the color and weight requested.

www.gottagogottathrow.com (http://www.gottagogottathrow.com)
They allow you to pick the color and weight.

Jun 12 2003, 06:05 AM
E-mail sunking, and he will even e-mail you the picture of a disc back.
GGGT, DiscnDat, DiscGolfWorld - call them, and they take a walk around their pro-shop and they will tell you exactly what they have.
Weight and Color - exactly....go to ebay

Zingcrash.com allows you to pick dye designs. The only problem I've ever had was with gottagogottathrow.com. They will meet your request within three grams. For MY putters, that is totally un-acceptable. DTworld filled all my requests to the letter and even replaced two when they were of a different run. BTW, they also sold me eight FX's at retail (13.95) while on eBay they were at least $20-25!

Weight and color exactly....call DiscLanding.

The Innova plant is a mere 20 minutes away. If they have it in stock then we have it in stock.

Ehmmmm Zingcrash? Looks like their last update was when? Not the best selction anymore. Was good in May 2002 when I bought stuff.

I went to disclanding.com and it looks their products are not available online. Why not?

DiscLanding has been waiting to go with the online store. With all the "clone" stores out there right now we wanted to do something special.

What we've been up to is aqquiring various collections and will be offering hard to find discs, stamps and frisbees as well as a full product line of current brands. We are a brick and motar store with a full museum and 3 rooms completely full of discs and disc golf related accessories.

Our prices may be a little higher than the "clones" but given the fact that even Lynx and all it's offspring don't have access to the warehouse like we do, it justifies it.

Like I've said, if Innova has it in stock that I can get it for you.

I stopped in a friends shop yesterday...he had Proline Monters (20) & Leopards, some CE Spiders...just to name a few.
I also saw some of those older Discraft discs that have that powderey feel/texture to them as well...he even had an old Vortex!
If anybody's interested, give me a shout...I'll send you his way.

i believe Dave D. said it will be a few months before 5x JK Aviar-X's are out. the first run of 4x JK's were harder than they should have been and the soft ones are again being made (4x, second run) but until retailers order them the old harder 4x's will probably be what you get. Any of the retailers posted have the new second run soft 4x JK Aviars for sure?
