Wichita Falls Golf

Going up to WFalls tomorrow to pick up some AIC's from Sheppard and decided to make a day of it and would like to play some courses. Can anyone please rank the courses for me so if I only get a chance to play 1 or 2 of the 3 - I can hit the good ones....

state park is a good course, but hard in this heat, that is the only one i played

Both Lake Wichita (Jaycee Park)and Lucy are fun courses that you should play. Lake Arrowhead hardly even has fairways. On almost every hole you are throwing over scrub mesquite trees or whatever they are. Lake Wichita is a longer less shaded course that would be better to play early morning or late evening and Lucy is mostly short with a few long holes mixed in that is nicely shaded. Lucy is a really fun course to play a quick round. Lots of skip ace chances. /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif

I would not recommend playing at Lake Arrowhead State Park. It rarely gets mowed and is real easy to lose a disc. Anyways, you can send me your phone number to my e-mail if you don't get in touch with me by phone.

Lucky for Ben, I am going to Ft.Worth tomorrow, so he gets to save money. Lucy and Lake Wichita(jaycee) are the courses you would want to play.
