Beautiful and challenging combination of open and semi-wooded holes around a lake. Carved granite tee markers. Other configurations play to 5,397 ft. and 10,068 ft. Home of the U.S. Disc Golf Championship.

I-77 Exit 82B, right off ramp to Cherry Rd., 2.6 miles to left on Richmond Dr., to Winthrop Coliseum Parking Area, curve around area, right at Rec Area sign. 1st tee near shack.
Winthrop Recreational is the first course I ever played on, the course that taught me to love this sport!
It is an excellent course. It is challenging enough for the pro's and fun enough to keep beginners interested and motivated to work hard at the game.
I recommend this course for everyone!
another great course in SC...look out for babes on the fairway when the weather is nice in the spring....there is also a couple of huge water hazards i play at this one...most of the time there is someone out there dredging the lake and pulling out discs...can't believe the US championships are there every year....a must play if in the area...
