Course Description:
Challenging terrain with wide-open fields, narrow wooded passages, rolling hills with pronounced elevation, and pine and larch groves. Beautiful Hartford skyline vista - a wonderfully manicured, scenic landscape. Seasonal - open Apr - Oct. $3-$5 for parking. 22 unique holes (ABCD loop). Alt. baskets on #2,7,9 and Alt. tee on #8 .

Directions:
I-84; take Exit 60 (Manchester-East Hartford). The park is 500 feet west of the exit. Look for signs and the stone gatehouse. 1329 West Middle Turnpike.
I am very impressed with how well maintained and nicely laid out Wickham Park is. Tight wooded holes lead to wide-open holes, this course will give both your accuracy and your distance throw a workout.
This course also offers an exceptional view of Hartford and is in a wonderful park with lots of nature for the whole family to enjoy. Give yourself time to check out the sensory garden while you are there.

This course can, at times, feel like your playing at a pro course. All the fields are mowed, wooded areas clean, cement tee-boxes, challenging terrain and an aviary to visit half way through. Public grounds with people having picnics and such, and there is a parking fee ($3 weekdays and $5 weekends). Not open in Winter months though. (Note: there are a few alternate holes "A thru D" that can change it up some.)
