Waller's pines are big and beautiful. Gotta love this park - unique feel to the course with the different sections. Worth the drive to play here in my opinion and I am a Santa Maria food fan (great BBQ in town and there is a SUPER FINE kitchen for lunch or dinner at Chef Rick's south of the course at Clark and Bradley).

This course has everything. 27 holes with a wide variety of shots and terrain. The whole front 9 are on grass fairways, the middle and back 9 are a mix of manicured grass and sandy dune fairways. The whole course is covered in HUGE, mature trees and has many interesting features that make it unique and fun. The sandy parts can take it out of you, so if you plan on tackeling all 27, be prepared for a full day. There is water and bathrooms throughout the park and a snack vendor near the play equipment that can help with the munchies ;) Weekends are busy at the park and I have run into the occational soccer practice, but most are aware of the play going on and will move for you if asked.
