Description

Good mix of open and wooded holes on beautiful rolling terrain overlooking the Coralville Reservoir. #18 is 680' in the longest position. Multiple pins per hole. Swimming beach, mountain biking, and hiking trails nearby. Federal property owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Annually, gates close to vehicular traffic Dec 1 through April 1 at Mehaffey Bridge Road NE. The course remains open for play through the winter, and can be accessed at 2335 Sugar Bottom Rd NE, Solon, IA 52333 after a short 12 minute walk to the course.

Directions

From I-80; north on Dubuque St. 6.5 miles to North Liberty, right on Front St (F38 is also Mehaffey Bridge Rd NE outside North Liberty), cross bridge over river, turn right into Rec Area, follow signs to course. Dec 1 - Apr 1, go past entrance on Mehaffey Bridge Rd NE to right on Sugar Bottom Rd NE, find small parking lot at 2335 Sugar Bottom Rd NE, Solon, IA 52333.
