Course Description:
Challenging mix of short and long holes. Large elevation changes. Mostly open shots bordering thick woods with lost discs in the rough. Am tees (playing 7,1,1) a must for beginners. Bridge between 1st and 2nd hole, and 4th and 5th holes can be muddy.

From I-235, south on Valley West Dr. (35th St.) across E.P. True Parkway, around curve, then 1st available left, then 1st left again into park. 1st tee under power lines.
i have only been playin for about a year now and i just moved to west des moines from st. charles. went and played this morning at this couse for the first time and had a blast. little confusing going from 4 to 5 (follow trail out of woods to the street the walk a bit then you will see the tee for 5) but i found my way. was very excited to see 6 deer while i was playing. only 9 holes so its a great moring play to start the day off. cant wait to see what else the des moines area has for courses.
