This is a great course. It has a nice array of long holes mixed with trees and open fields. The course has both long and short tee boxes for most holes. The water can be tricky at times but for the person confident in their throwing ability the water will never be a factor. Although there are a lot of disc in the water so beware of the wind and your personal abilities. The water on hole 18 will eat your disc all day so be careful not to throw too long from the tee box.
Great course. Has it's challenging holes, and can really wear you down in the back 9, but overall it is an enjoyable and challenging course.
Research park is a fun course with a few different variation going on. Water comes into play on holes 1,10 if you throw too far, 11 & 17, these are all the long tee boxes. If you don't have the arm to get over the water you can play from the short tees. Holes 2,11,13&17 from the longs are all over 400ft. To sum it up the course is wide open with many different routes to each basket no mandatories, road is OB water as well. The only thing I can say I don't like about this course is there are no concreate tee pads it is considered a temporary course by Texas A&M. If you feel like throwing longer than regular longs there is a Gold position for every hole there are maps on every regular tee box to tell you where the gold placement is. Tom Yocky designed it and drew the maps. Well if you make it out there have fun and stay dry!!!
