Course Description:

Relatively short but challenging, requiring consistent accuracy. 9 holes pretty open - the balance carved out of woods on a steep hillside. Elevation changes make distances deceptive. Added contact: Vince Whorley, 434-238-7146, TimberRidgeDG@msn.com

Reviews:

Great course. The first three holes are the longest, I think up to 250 feet. The rest are short, with one being as short as 120 feet. Lots of trees make for narrow throwing lanes. I only had a chance to play 2 rounds while on vacation. My first round was +2, the second round after I knew where all of the baskets were located was -7. Leave your drivers at home, all you need for this course are your mids and a putter. You might want to practice the tomahawk throw too. Its a good hike up and down all of the hills. I'm looking forward to playing it again soon.

A terrific beginners course. I live in Lynchburg and was introduced to disc golf at Peaks View park. The course is very well laid out and easy to follow without a map. While most holes are less than 250' there are plenty of hills, trees, and other hazards that make each hole totally unique and fun to play. My only cons are that it is a popular course and gets alot of traffic on afternoons and weekends.
