I believe this is a nice course for beginners. It may not be as scenic or challenging as a couple of other courses I've seen. This was the first couse I ever played, and I really enjoyed it. I think I may be getting hooked on this sport. The nice thing about a short 9 hole couse is that you can play numerous rounds in a short amount of time.
Nice little 9-hole course here, and a very scenic park, at that! Disc golf course signs actually navigate you to the correct parking lot. Once there (practice hole provided), you start waaaay behind the shelter by the totem pole. Actually, the course map is on the reverse side of the shelter...didn't see that until we left (POOR!). Other than that, the course flows very nicely. A complaint of mine is that it was tough to find the alternate tees, and the way the signs for were placed was a bit confusing, and you have to watch your step for roots on some of the natural tees. At any rate, a good time was had by all. Not a tough course, but keeping the disc out of the woods was a challenge for this rookie.
This is a repetitive (and a bit short) course many of the holes play the same way, strait and in the woods. the holes do not have any tees you just kinda throw from where ever. The tee markers showed pro tees but I couldn't for the life of me find them. a simple railroad tie would do. The woods do pose a good challenge in some places. Not bad to play if your in the area and need to kill time but not something to take a trip for.
A quick 9 hole course. It plays fairly easy from the regular tees. If there are pro-tees; I only found a few of them. Its cut through the woods, however, it is not that difficult because it is short.
New concrete tees and it is now 18 holes with a good mix of thick woods and open holes.
Those old reviews do no justice to the course, there is a full 18, first nine are quick through the woods while the back nine are wide open and cover a ton of space. 18s pro tee is insane. Its quite a fun course, i havent managed to lose a disk here yet either, though the water im sure has a few in it.
