This course is in need of serious renovations, the baskets are old and sub standard for current tournament play. Only 9 holes, tees are worn out and are too small not rectangular like they should be. Lots of sidewalks and paths run throughout the course so be ready to dodge some baby strollers or pets on leashes. Play it if its conveneint for you, but look for Marshmallow Mountain it is located fairly close and its a brand new course.
Mclean CP is just dreadful. It's a course built for the most pathetic amatuers who must have an incredible imagination to actually bear playing another round there. I was told of this course called Marshmallow Mountain, I called the guy up and he seemed very excited for me to go play there. since it was very close to Mclean's course I felt compelled to stop by but didn't have much expectations. When I got there I was blown away! It's tucked away in the heart of Mclean, VA and you experience all that is desired. It has plenty of challenging shots and rewards. I'll be sure to play this course again. I consider myself an advanced disc golfer and this course is a must play for skills of all levels except maybe Ken Climo who apparently has showed up to the course and hung out with the course creator. Ken currently holds the record and made it challenging to break, but where theres a will (Marshmallow Mtn) theres a way!
Sincerely,
Happy
Pros: The holes provide a good challenge as you got to throw over a creek and through shrubs.
Cons: After a rain storm, the area gets swampy and lots of huge puddles almost impossible to walk through had to give up after 3 holes.
